​@@chrislyne377 The Cass Review - You mean the "Review" that was biased because it disregarded loads of studies supporting medically transitioning for trans people, especially trans youth (at age appropriate measures), and implied that over 18's (but under 25's) could not be "mature enough" to have bodily autonomy? It disregarded a load of studies (even ones that were conducted under the NHS) because they weren't "double blind studies". The reason they weren't double blind studies is because that is incredibly unethical in this instance, especially with regards to children. It's also why a lot of paediatric medication is prescribed off licence. As per the government's website: "However, there are clinical situations when the use of unlicensed medicines or use of medicines outside the terms of the licence (ie, ‘off-label’) may be judged by the prescriber to be in the best interest of the patient on the basis of available evidence. Such practice is particularly common in certain areas of medicine: for instance, in paediatrics where difficulties in the development of age-appropriate formulations means that many medicines used in children are used off-label or are unlicensed." Furthermore it completely removes the purpose of having Gillick competence. It also found that, despite saying "detransition rate is unknown" and all of that, it did include an analysis (page 168 of the Cass Review), of 3,306 patients: "The following patients were included in the data collection: Patients who have attended at least two appointments at GIDS; patients who have been discharged from GIDS between 01 April 2018 and 31 Dec 2022." "Of the 3,499 patients audited, 3,306 were included within the analysis." "< 10 patients detransitioned back to their [birth-registered] gender, all of whom were female, and all but one were confirmed as having received puberty blockers as their first intervention. These patients had received an average of 6.5 appointments prior to referral to endocrinology (range 3-10 appointments)." Less than 10 of those detransitioned, however, let's be charitable and say that 10 detransitioned. Mathematically: (10/3306) x 100 = 0.30248... That gives a rough estimate of 0.3% detransition. I realise that is a very oversimplification of a research paper, but the idea that there's a phenomenon of people having "regret" is absurd, and proves that that "Review" is full of nonsense and not in the best interest of the majority of people referred to the clinics. The Cass Review goes against the UN's recommendations, and the majority of experienced medical specialists in the field that deals with young trans and gender non-conforming people. Lastly, as someone who went to and was seen by GIDS, I can tell you that first hand, the Review is misleading. It's been almost 4 years since I had my one and only appointment with GIDS (after waiting for over 3 years for my first initial appointment, I was told that because I was almost 18 that they would just refer me to the adult services, so I had to do more waiting and actually ended up going private using PIP (my disability benefits) to fund it - that money should be going to my disabilities, but how I saw and continue to see it is that the benefits are useless if I'm not alive), and I haven't regretted anything other than living in the UK (although, there's not much I can do about that).

It might seem like my amusement at the video's unpopularity reflects my disapproval over Graham's opinions, but the uploader clearly stated their position in the video title and it's his opinion I'm at odds with. I'm simply pointing out that the negative ratio reflects the public's reaction to his perspective. While a video's unpopularity doesn't affect the uploader's right to share it, I believe I'm making a valid point by highlighting the audience's response.
