Graham Nash doesn't just sing. He gives a part of himself in every performance.

It is mankind who never seems to learn. We call it man's inhumanity to man. Until the greed, hate, desire to control stops, others will force this upon those who do not wish it. From the beginning of time, man cannot seem to learn his lesson.

Being a hawk wasn't always kick-arse get out of my way logic back in the day. Still, a hawk with I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knee's and found I can handle anything the average liberal gives to me except that exceptional ego. I have never been able to get around that for its just to damn big but what the hell I always can listen to some good music like this while I contemplate that :)

In the first verse, the "Military Madness" was was from the outside - Nazi Germany. Of course they had to be dealt with, but it sucked that. LOL. Surely that's where he's coming from in verse one, right? Anything else doesn't make sense to me, but we'd have to ask him. Verse 2, Vietnam. What a waste that was. But here, when he throws in nukes, I dunno what what he means. LOL. Anyway, I'm 65, and I worked in the defense industry for 30 years developing weapons systems for the U.S. Army Missile Command (which has a different name now) but being a hawk is never kickass, is it? And being a dove is ridiculous. There's a lot room between hawk and drove, right? Sure can't roll over and die in the face of aggression. I bet we just have different definitions for that word, but if you and I could talk for a while, we'd find out we agree on most all of that kind of stuff. So this comment uh, I'm retired, by myself, and I got high. sorry. LOL. Halfway between hawk and dove, between Liberal and Conservative, not left, not right, flexibility. Yeah. I'm high and this is stupid. My bad.

In honor of the kids marching today against gun violence. This brings back memories. And this song is relevant now. And he should have changed the words to include Trump.
