Join Graham Cahill on another AUSOLO Adventure! Back in the trusty TD42 GU Patrol, he's headed to the Flinders Ranges National Park in South Australia - somewhere we've NEVER filmed before!
Red dirt desert, breathtaking Aussie mountain ranges and endless serenity... 4WDing in the flinders doesn't get much better - Graham's stoked to be back behind the wheel of his old ute but this time he's camping in comfort and style with a serious offroad caravan!

To my mind, Graham's AU Solo series is the epitome of outback adventures. No bashing and crashing, no entourage, no big production, just one personal adventure as told by the participant. This is the type of video that makes us feel like we are going along for the ride. Thank you Graham, for taking us along on your journey.

Great work Graham, we're lucky to have it on our doorstep here in SA. But you really need to spend a couple weeks exploring it. My favourites are deep in the Flinders, and the gorges, Brachina Gorge, Bunyeroo Gorge. Head to the Prairie hotel from Hawker, turn right, then left to Moolooloo station, up to the old Nuccaleena mine ruins. Then head up to Blinman. From there head north to Chambers Gorge, on the way back go to Beltana. If you want a guide let me know 😉

Mate, I'm blown away by your excellent solo production quality. People who have never filmed something of this scale in solo mode, will never quite appreciate how much time and effort is required to achieve something like this. 80-90% is traveling, planning, mapping, researching, vehicle management, battery management, editing, shot setup, audio sync, figuring out what to talk about, getting the right words/messaging out, tracking the timeline and keeping all the SD cards and footage in some sort of timeline synchronization for efficient editing, all of this and making sure you finally tell a story at the end of it with enough energy and enthusiasm to keep people interested. All of this is insanely more complex when you go off-grid, you cant just pop in to the local store to get another sd card, drone propeller or battery ;)

I live in the Catskills (upstate NY) our soil is good for growing but there’s tons of rocks. Big ones. So back 100-150 years ago when everyone out here farmed, they plowed up a lot of rocks. Only thing they could do was build walls and foundations. There’s must be a 1000 miles of rock walls in the Catskills. Perfectly built creations. Now a lot of that land is state owned and we bird hunt it with dogs. If you see rock walls you know birds will be there. It’s the stuff of poetry when you see a grouse flush over one of these walls.

Happy and surprised that Graham is using some Magic Sarap that we also use here in the Philippines for seasoning. "Sarap" literally means delicious in Filipino. Loving the film!

Agree with all the positive comments, these solo films are great. Driving through mud heaps may be fun to do but get pretty boring to watch all the time. This was interesting, informative and well done. Good work Graham, keep them coming. It would be good to have the full crew do a trip using this type of format and without all the commercialism (well limited anyway).

Hey Graham, just watching your new release of the solo trip. Hey question what's the Maverick viper 13 like to tow. Had been look at them. I drive a 4.7lt WJ 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Wondering if I could tow it easyly. Could you please advise when ya get the chance. Cheers Chris. Vic.

I remember meeting a traveller from WA back in April 2019 at Orrorroo He stated that he’d done the flinders ranges in 2018 I thought to myself “How can you ever do the Flinders Ranges? I’ve been 28 times and feel like I haven’t even touched this secret sacred wonder. Thank you Graham for your authentic passion for all things outdoors
