Question for Graham for the next beers in the shed episodes: We have heard thousands of "the best camp site ever!" Now you have done the US trip and all the others in AUS can you give us your top 10, to date, campsites you have been too?

considering we have seen 2 US tracks over how many months, I am not sure US should be included until we've been granted access to the remaining eps. I am not sure of what my age will be when they eventually release the hidden eps in 2025 @@rogersurujbally6209

So happy to see that part of the Flinders get the exposure it deserves on your platform. I’ve been enjoying Bendleby for 10 years and seen it go from strength to strength. Baltana and Blinman are amazing places out there, to name just a few.

One thing that this series is doing well is actually showing and explaining the basics of 4wdriving. The stuff that 90% of people will do, and with steph and Harley you can actually show the mistakes most inexperienced people will make. I love it, so nice to see it done without all the craziness of shauno and jocko

As you can understand, my "big lap" get's another detour added after watching each new ep of off grid. Thank you so much for posting this, made my week.

Graham, 2 years ago you popped in to the Flinders briefly and showed 1% of it. This time jumping from Bendleby Ranges all the way to Beltana means that your viewers saw pretty much none of the Flinders again. For goodness sake, make a proper Flinders Ranges episode. Show the world what a magical place it is. It's got a lot going for it. Hint: film it in August/September

That was fantastic guys. Billy Goats track at Bendalby ranges is one of my favorite Flinders offroad tracks. Since you went through Beltana you should have also stayed at Warraweena station. They have great tracks there as well. The track is fantastic. You drive through a valley navigating through gum trees with sheer rock cliffs on either side. Then you climb Mt Gill (914m high) with just star posts on your right hand side to guide you as the hood of the 4wd obscures vision. Big drop off on each side. Real pucker moment. Its hoot of a track with great views.

So much more to the Flinders than what you've shown... Blendelby Ranges is definitely a highlight, but there's so much more besides. Nuccaleena Mine, Mt Gill, the Brachina Gorge to Bunyeroo track and of course Wilpena Pound. Then there's the thousands of small spots to stop in along the way with rock art, gorges, ruins, look outs, the shop in Hawker with the seismometer and so on.

I did the Flinders and Yorks in a 1974 GB Galant (Chrysler) in the 1980s a Ranger in his 4x4 told me not to but me being nuts did it anyway, coming back I gave him a beep as I passed his bogged 4X4 and he wasn't happy. Sometimes it's about giving it a go with what you have and the GB sat high from the factory so I was confident in my driving skills to get the job done. I did it again in the 90s in a Datsun 180B wagon with air shocks but was more of a struggle but boy I had some fun.

I had a 34 foot offroad toy hauler camp trailer. I had axle reverse done on it. They put the axle on top of the leaf springs instead of underneath. Which it’s how it came from the factory. Definitely made it not bottom out offroad. I don’t know how the set up is from the factory in Australia 🇦🇺. Just an option that’s available. 😊😊😊

Hi guys looks like the track you started on was what was abandoned rather than the campsite you drove to on good tracks but would be fun to do the track you reopened. The poor cameramen don’t get much of a look in for all the work they do ha ha , how about including the crew in the footage, they must be interesting people too. Good work we are off to do the canning next year and the gibb again plus a couple of deserts in our trusty Mav.
