I was in the Tom Landry fitness center basketball gym where the mavs used to practice around 9pm by myself. The pickup game crowd had left and I was still shooting. Then I saw Dirk walk in (I think with his German coach). As I kept shooting he warmed up and I think I saw him take one hundred or more shots. Not only did I not see him miss a shot, I never saw the ball touch the rim, at all. I hope this isn't a fish story in my head now, but I just cannot remember him missing the middle of the net, EVER.

Hopefully you asked him how he felt when Cuban didn’t continue to be ‘all in’ post championship, where Dirk took pay cuts and put a beating on his body, and they failed to put the talent around him. Wasting years of his career, post 2011
