Huge laker fan. Kobe my favorite player. But this guy is what made me love the game of basketball to witness that championship run was just amazing and just motivating. Tall guy ain’t the most athletic but the killer instinct and the drive he has when he plays was just something you had to respect.

True. That’s what makes the 2011 run do remarkable. He was 32 and literally gave everything he had left as “Prime Dirk”. He lost a step the next season. Such a legendary career & story.
