'He is the best man I have ever met in my life' - that's a hell of a praise from one of your staff. I was gunna say that he was/is a great racer, and he puts back into the sport, and he employs people from his own town but that 1st quote just sums it up perfectly. Love you VR!

I think hes the GOAT of motorsports period. I dont watch MotoGP, i am a F1 fan, but F1 drivers make a lot of money and i cant think of any drivers who have a driver academy, giving youth the chance, making it a bit easier for them. and then targeting having a team in MotoGP. its just amazing. How proud he would have been on his last day in MotoGP. So many drivers from his academy in all categories wearing his number on their helmets. LEGEND.

@syedshabih17983 жыл бұрын
@@TheDatpussy Yeah, but so does Lando too i think. But they aren't like managing. Alonso is the same age as Rossi and has a similar length of career. But my point is that valentino's riders are already in all categories of motoGP. Getting to motoGP might be easier than f1. but he is still making a really big impact. Just imagine how proud he'd be when one of his guys wins the championship. He passed that mantle on, and now has a team too to send more talent through.

@johnjandoh67322 жыл бұрын
@@Jimmie92 Exactly. The only reason why some countries like England have F1 even competing with motogp is because sky sports news refuses to cover anything on Motogp. Probably because no English rider has gotten close to the top for at least 4 decades and they're bitter about it. Even still Rossi as well as motorcycle racing itself is still more popular than F1.

Some people transcend their sport and become legends after they retire. In Vales case he achieved that status whilst still competing in it. There are comments on here saying he hasn’t won championships for many years (which is true) and yet every MotoGP was a home race for him no matter where he competed right up until he retired. I can’t think of anyone who comes close to VR in bringing so many fans into a sport and leaving such a vacuum once they leave it.
