Josh Duhamel, I’m so proud of you, you’re a real man. Prepping is creating plans, gathering resources, and developing skills to overcome emergencies, disasters, and survival situations. The scope of preparedness is large and up to the prepared individual, ranging from simple power outages to apocalyptic events. Not having to rely on anyone or anything to survive. So, satisfying. It’s the way they lived in the 1700s. Keep up this great adventure. This definitely needs to be a series with all the new upgrades and adventures

Reminds me of my dad. When he retired he sold our super nice childhood home and bought land on a lake. We all thought he was crazy until he turned it into a oasis like this. My brothers and I can’t wait to come up every weekend now. Although we aren’t doomsday peepers we are pretty remote. @@A1i3N337 Disagree. Maybe some are.. but most that I know are good grounded folk who love their families and see the way the world is today, with all the division, anger, chaos.. and just want a safe place for their family if shit hits the fan. Nothing wrong with that. I don't think Josh, myself or many others are mentally unwell just because we're thinking about if something happens we may have a chance to survive.

@@lessforloans ummm yes it is… I used to have well water, my dad currently has well water, hour outside of Minneapolis, we also had it at our cabin…so I know exactly what I’m talking about if you live actually in a rural area that has good well water meaning it hasn’t been infected or polluted with anything because even well water can still get really nasty if you don’t take care of it ….then yes, it is basically the same thing. Maybe there’s one tiny little screen filter inside your faucet, inside the house, but it’s basically the same thing inside the house as as it is at the pump outside … if a well is on your land, then there’s just one well for everything🤷🏻‍♀️👀😂

You are a million percent correct when you say “if we lost cell phones the majority of society would panic” part of what got my husband and I into prepping (besides Floridas hurricanes we were in Naples for Irma and fort myers for Ian, Covid, and just watching how fragile our system really is) was seeing all these people using their phones for everything, literally can’t drive to work without gps because they don’t know the street names or land markers! We have paper maps, we have multiple evacuation plans, etc. I can go on and on but the reality is none of us know what’s going to happen today or next week, I know we aren’t anywhere near 100%, no one is, but we are much more equipped to handle whatever comes our way. Our biggest thing was we didn’t want to be out there with all the crazies when SHTF happens, we will be hunkered down or on our way to a secure location way before most people know it’s even happening. We are just now starting to build our “group” I think there is safety in numbers, but you have to know who you are surviving with, if SHTF actually happens who knows maybe we will find eachother and thrive as a tribe❤️
