Your strongest asset is how you see the world and express that. Like Bruce Lee said, "Make your disadvantage your advantage."

Thanks Graham. This reminds me of the Sega versus Nintendo "Nintendon't" ads in the '90s and current Hyundai vs. Toyota "Toyota doesn't" ads. They use resources that focus on the competition rather than building up their own product.

Thank you for this video. It's like all the things that God has been showing me in the past few years in one place. I'm saving it to listen to over and over. 😊

Excellent. My online course is not really where I’d like it - and YES, I have had these thoughts. It’s much easier just being me, rather than copy.

If every entrepreneur tried to be like everyone else, we would still be driving horse-drawn carriages and sending messages through telegraphs. Someone has to shake things up and be the innovator. Usually the rewards go to that person.

These messages about finding your own way, that's how you stand out. I see it all the time with clients of mine both in podcasting and business. I also, did it myself. These things take time, and I love that you lean into this. I'm doing the same. I got sick of trying to "fit in" and it ultimately led me to fitting in and becoming invisible. Good stuff, Graham!

So true! Thank you because I often think about others in my niche if they are as successful as they portray!!! I am not gong to lie, sometimes it sets me back mentally but eventually pushes me forward. People can make anything look the way they want it to appear.

Love this video!! More people need to talk about this cause it’s a problem. I hear of so many people burning out because they’re not staying true to themselves

Totally agree. Actually I think our best influence should come from people outside our field. I work with musicians, and always suggest them to look and listen to musicians on different genres.

Bingo. I just shared this with my class of business owners this morning. We discussed Simon Sinek's "Infinite Game". I believe that when we are focused on competition we spend less time on our customer/client. Be yourself, offer that unique perspective to YOUR unique group of people/organizations and that is how you will succeed.

Well said my friend! I have been living a version of this principle for a long time now, and hearing you today has reinforced and strengthened my commitment to hold the line and not chase. I think you’ll agree with my self-affirmation statement that I use to remind myself to focus on my own business - if others are copying me it means they’re behind me! Keep leading the pack, because the lead dog is the only one with a good view and fresh air!
