Hi Graham, thank you so much for all the videos you've been posting on the FZ82. I'm looking to pick up a camera again and I'm really stuck on what to choose. The FZ82 was recommended to me but I've seen quite a few mixed reviews. What bridge camera would you suggest is the best? I'd like to take it out with me for snapping pictures of wildlife, scenery and maybe portraits here and there. I've been looking at FZ82, FZ1000 and Canon 4000D, but the world of photography is confusing (for me at least) in terms of specs, etc. Thanks so much, Ella

Hi Graham, I've recently bought an ND filter for my FZ82 with a view to shooting wildlife video in bright sunshine. One thing I've noticed when using the filter however, is the resulting video is out of focus even though the camera "thinks" the bird/animal is in focus when setting the shot up. This doesn't happen when I'm not using the filter. Is the glass of the filter causing some sort of focusing issue do you think? Thanks

Hi graham, recently got back into photography and have just purchased the fz1000 mark2. I was wondering if you know of a tele-converter that will fit it, and what you’d recommend if you do? Thanks in advance.

A teleconvertor is not recommended for this lens. The weight would be too great for the lens frames to move. Unlike the FZ200/300 which have a provision to mount a lens tune to carry the teleconvertor the FZ1000 series do not. You will get better images using either EX or i.Zoom.

I bought your book on the fz1000mk2 which I have and cannot remember which video explained how to fix when your settings blink red like the f-stop and shutter I believe. Would you happen to remember the video. Thanks

That implies that the light level is too high or too low for the settings that are in use. First try changing the ISO and you should see the scale start to move. You need to get the exposure meter into the grey area for it to give the correct exposure/

In the right conditions it is a great camera - just needs a little understanding to get the best from it.
