Excellent video on using flash correctly Graham. I bought the same flash for my fz80. It's a great flash and works well. Lots of features on the flash also. Can't recommend the camera and flash combo enough. Flash is such a useful tool that few bother with as they think it's to hard to master. It's like any other part of photography. You gotta try it and practice. I found the flash compensation to be anther useful feature. Have a great Christmas Graham and family and thanks for all the videos you've made this year. Thanks Simon and I agree that correctly used flash can be a great addition to your lighting portfolio. Off camera it is even more useful and the TT350o optical slave mode is also useful.

It's really advantageous to learn how to use flash to get some really good images with this camera. Light is the absolute key to making this camera perform properly and return noise free images.

Bought and FZ82 on your recommendation and have never looked back. This is a useful video as I have had issues with the built in flash and doing family portraits I front of the Christmas tree. Seems like need a separate flash gun 👍

Yes bounce flash is really an important feature to get nice soft lighting across a broad area of the picture. Thanks for your comment

I took my bridge camera out yesterday. I haven't really learned how to use it properly yet. I noticed that the automatic mode doesn't really look any better than my smartphone. I'm I would see much better results once I learn how to use it manually?
