I'm currently writing a short horror novel and this channel has been my go to place for music to listen to while writing. I'm just two chapters away from finishing it and let's just say that I wouldn't get this far without these songs playing in the background. I will never be the same once all of this is over...

@@arnoldrivas4590 I awoke into my dream on a tall hill looking over a drab sagging village with moss covered thatched roofs and comely yellow lights beckoning from its windows creating a aching nostalgia in my chest. As I walk down the hill towards the provincial scene, twilight crawled up to meet me, until, as I left the grassy path and entered the stone streets, night settled around me. As I proceeded I could not help but see into the households at characters who seemed more fabricated of clay then flesh. Each window appeared to present a stop-motion drama of the events inside. Looking down at my hands, I was shock to see that they, as well, had taken the appearance of molding clay. I wiped my hands together and was struck by awe as the features of my palms were wiped away. Pressing on my fingers they flattened and misshaped so, that I began to press them flat. Working up my arms, I fashioned what I could conceive of wings. Stretching my newly arranged appendages out and clumsily, at first, flapping them, I managed to gain flight. Circling the small village at first, I spied distant lands, and gain more and more altitude, I made for a new adventure.

This is absolutely brilliant - thank you! It's perfect for my Call of Cthulhu RPG tabletop sessions as well as Arkham and Eldritch Horror board game sessions. I recently played this while working through "Alone on Halloween" for a fun solitaire game (though several of us played through the solitaire experience together). It's just great - I even play it while enjoying the text adventure masterpiece Anchorhead. And for Pulp Cthulhu, we use this while throwing some occasional 1930s radio music in the mix. I really appreciate that you've made it so that it builds the ambiance without being too intrusive - you've hit exactly the right balance. Again - brilliant!!

Hello dearest Graham, I'm very fond of your music and litteraly always listen to it when i'm preparing ttrpg games. Is it authorised to use your music for vttrpg on twitch or KZbin (non commercial non profit) ? Mostly now I'm using the music which are included in some famous vtt, but I will love to be able to use your work.
@CthulhuMythosMusic3 жыл бұрын
Hi there - I always allow use of the music for non-commercial use. One thing to note as mentioned in descriptions is that if you place a video on KZbin, there's a chance if the music is loud enough it will be tagged by my publisher. The tags can be ignored, but if people want to monetize their YT videos, this won't be possible if you use music that is under content ID (which most of my music is) as it'll be monetized by my publisher for anywhere the music appears.

@@acronscawlernc6697 Hi Acrons, all music requires a license for commercial projects. For non-commercial projects no license is required but note that all my shorter video tracks that were released on iTunes etc are done by a publisher. If music is used in a youtube video it will likely be tagged by publisher. This is ok, and I'd never strike against a video, but it's just something to note. CD Baby will claim the video in most cases and I'll receive any monitization.

When you are young fear comes from monsters, dying and failure. As you get old though, you discover fear isn't a horror its just an unknown. An as the unknowns multiply, the fear magnifies but your ability to express it collapses. The boogie man was driven out by your mom or dad coming and comforting you when you were little. But as you age- you are ignored as those shadows start growing in the corners again. But instead of boogie men, it's gaping maw coming to swallow you and leave your dead flesh behind, like empty snail shells picked clean by crows. Where do you go when the gaping hole of death swallows you? That is where the fear comes.

Is there a difference between Arkham horror and Eldritch horror?
@floodkevin47162 жыл бұрын
Big difference
@xenmaster02 жыл бұрын
@@floodkevin4716 Arkham Horror (the game) takes place entirely within the town of Arkham, and has some clunky IMHO game mechanics, including goods you have to pay for various things. Eldritch Horror eliminates the payment system and covers the entire world. Eldritch Horror is much more streamlined, yet covers a much larger range of experience, where the player goes through gates into other worlds, encounters creatures and cultists in various cities around the world, and collects earthly weapons along with occult spells and artifacts to battle hideous monsters.
