Grain and Straw Sales, Corn Planting, & Crops Maintenance | Fichthal V2 Farm | FS 22 | Timelapse #02

Welcome back to the Fichthal V2 Farm Timelapse. Our primary focus revolves around the efficient utilization of straw collected from the fields post-wheat harvest. Initially, we employ a two-step process to manage the straw. First, we use a SAMASZ Z2-840 H rake in tandem with a FENDT FAVORIT 511C tractor to create double windrows. Subsequently, a FENDT 714 VARIO tractor equipped with a POTTINGER IMPRESS 125F PRO baler is deployed to produce compact straw bales.
To enhance the profitability of our straw sales, we've embarked on a project to process it further. Our plan involves the establishment of a small thermal power plant, where a portion of the straw bales will be incinerated. The electricity generated from this process will be sold, contributing to our overall revenue.
Simultaneously, we start preparing the field for the upcoming sowing season. Our trusty FENDT FAVORIT 511C tractor is equipped with the AMAZONE KG 3001 SUPER power harrow, and it heads out to prepare the soil. In anticipation of planting corn, we divest the harvested wheat crop to fund the acquisition of a new planter.
Upon accumulating sufficient funds, we invest in an economical AMAZONE PRECEA 4500-2C SUPER planter, which is paired with our reliable FENDT 714 VARIO tractor. This setup is put to work in the fields, ensuring the timely planting of corn. Upon completion of the planting process, the equipment is returned to its designated storage area.
As the corn crops grow, we remain vigilant in nurturing the seedlings. Weed control is achieved through both mechanical means and the application of herbicides. Additionally, we provide essential nourishment to the crops through the use of cost-effective liquid fertilizers. We procure suitable equipment to facilitate these tasks, further optimizing our agricultural operations.
