Grain on the Brain Voluntown/Griswold CT

"Grain on the Brain" is a brief mix of extra footage from filming various activities in Voluntown and Griswold CT from 1979 through the 1980's. There's bits and pieces of music throughout, parties and outdoor fun, aerial bombs, some down-to-earth humor in "crazy" skits we wrote and clips of friends several of whom are no longer here with us.
We were able back then to watch the footage but not all put together as a film with titles, effects and music added to the soundtrack.
Some of the footage was lost by the company printing it and some scenes were too dark or had faulty audio but we were finally able to get a decent transfer of the footage that remained.
This was mostly done on super 8mm sound film which was really all we had back then for a while to capture our sometimes "grain on the brain" antics. And when I see a natural remedy product with a label that says "Preserved with grain alcohol", I say "Whoa, that could be us!" Lol.
