Love Nelson. We were told no night shooting unless you are part of a workshop (2018). But we talked the guy into letting us shoot at night for a small fee. Didn't know if that was the regular deal or not. Video shows it very well. Thanks.

For night shots, a Sigma 20mm prime lens is amazing! Best lens I ever used. amzn.to/3GNYw6t

Probably not over the town itself as there are always people there. You'd require an event permit in that case.
