Monica's first commission, almost adequately documented by Jason.

I love how Monica shots are very dark and moody, and add some mystery to the locations. Jason’s shots are just all blown out hipster portra style. Vote Monica to take over the channel.

It's just awesome to see the difference between Nick Carver and Jason. Nick went there in full pro mode, bringing his own videographer, nerding out about shots and scenes and whatnot. And Jason went there to have some fun with his girlfriend. Love both approaches

Thomas Heaton was kind of in the middle I'd say...his video of this was interesting too....he just seemed so lost at times.

I think some of Nick's panoramic shots were absolutely top tier. I really like a lot of Jason's images too, they are the perfect complement as other's have said. I couldn't finish Thomas Heaton's videos.

I sometimes wonder to myself if you think about what your videos mean to people. To me at least, they are an event. I am excited for them in the same way I get excited for my favourite band’s new album. Except I get to have that feeling every two weeks, instead of once every four years or so. Once the dust has settled, you will go down as the person who managed to document the art of film photography in the most optimal manner. I say all this with the greatest of respect. And I am damn sure I am not the only one who feels this way. Thank you, Jason.

I've watched several Spain trips from other photographers. Your video is by far the best! I've been thinking about what cameras and film I would bring. My Olympus OM-4 (OM-1 for backup). 50mm f1.4 (one of the sharpest lenses I've ever used) and the 28mm f2.8. Yashica 124. (If I could get the money I would buy a Pentax 67 or Pentax 645N) I think I would keep the film simple. T-Max 100 / 400 (35 & 120) and maybe a few rolls of T-Max 3200. A chance of a lifetime and you freakin nailed it. You're the man!

My partner and I spent 3 weeks travelling around Spain last year and it was so nice to revisit a few of the spots through your eyes. Andalucia was one of my favourites also. @21:45 Patience...great point @grainydays. I've practiced this on so many occasions. On one particular vacation, I walked out to about 30 feet or so from the ocean and stayed in that one spot for 2.5hrs through sunset. We were there so long a couple on the 16th floor of the hotel behind us came down to ask what we were doing. 😂 During that time, I photographed a bon fire, a plastic dragon toy in the sand, macro images of sea shells, a couple holding hands on the water's edge, a portrait of a beachgoer, breaking waves, some dude skim boarding, a rainbow, silhouettes of people walking the beach, and sunset. Some of THE BEST images I've ever shot. If you stay in one place long enough, something is bound to happen.
