Please tell in briefly.... about staining why Gram + doesn't gain other safranine and retain violet colour where Gram - gain pink or washed violet colour...please add

At first, crystal violet enters inside the bacteria cell and then iodine. This forms larger Crystal violet Iodine complex inside the bacterial cell. Then alcohol is added which shrink the peptidoglycan layer. Gram-positive bacteria have a thick peptidoglycan layer so, the larger CV-I complex cannot penetrate the cell wall, while in case of gram-negative bacteria thin peptidoglycan layer shrink after the addition of alcohol which can be penetrated by the CV-I complex.
