Faster way 180 sq feet x $2.55. No meed to do all the calculation because eyeball $2 X 180= $360. So $459 is the correct answer.

That feels like the slow way. The given options are rather dissimilar so our math doesn’t need to be precise. 180x2 plus 180x.5, then choose the closest answer.

Yes, you CAN use estimation to solve this one because of the answer choices. On test day, however, the answer choices will almost certainly be much closer together. Of course, I also solved this one in under 60 seconds, including with a long explanation. If you were solving this one your own, it would realistically take 40 seconds or less.
