They're trying to get all of the secrets😂😂😂 Ali playing like he doesn't know all of the equipment and reverbs he used😂😂😂✊
@sami_got_vibes4 жыл бұрын
i not saying Ali or anyone is wrong but, the secret sauce is not what they use... Its always how they use it, im telling yall now that Ali or even Dr Dre could give out all his secret sauce but there ain gon be another Dr Dre, he is who he is.. because a poor carpenter blames his tools. Just think how Michel Jackson had recorded his albums in the 80s who mix is still undefeated, they didnt have all the cool shit we have that we have today, those didnt even meet the quality of todays standards. But those mixes sounds like they are something outta the 80s, that shit sounds like something outta the future..
@SamiDaComposer4 жыл бұрын
@@sami_got_vibes fax I agree my fav album of all time is thriller because the mixing in that song is so smooth and sexy and out of this world that it’s sounds better then what modern singers put out today even with the better equipment we have now

@@sami_got_vibes I get all of that...I'm merely laughing at how coy he is, when they ask for specifics
@fantaztikbeatz3 жыл бұрын
You can tell he lieing about what he uses because he starts to stutter 🤣 he doesn't want to let the sauce out but IMO it really doesn't matter because if you dont know what your doing with the tools doesn't make a difference at all.

Also watch the episodes with Salaam Remi, Noah 40 and Louis Bell - three of the best communicators of the essence of their craft. Mike Dean, one of the best who ever did it, on the other hand, isn't the most talkative person in the world. It took a lot to get a little out of him.

When pushing the line input on the desk you drive the sound more into the circuit creating distortion which sounds dope. Helps add punch to the drums. You can get a similar vibe on the CLA SSL Mixhub plugin. Push the drums or kick n snare via the line input and your hear it. Have fun...

he sends the reverb signal to his analog SSL g-4000 compressor then sends that signal back to the mix. You can achieve a similar effect for cheaper with a waves g compressor, ableton glue compressor, or a hardware stam audio SA-4000

Especially, now, you just need to find a mentor or enginerr individuals that are in a position to shed light. I attended Audio School in Nyc, its gonna run you +20k. You can acquire the same knowledge for must cheaper but you'll have to want it. If you don't have self discipline, then go to a school.
@joebrown82076 жыл бұрын
Thinking of attending SAE to get a good foundation, but really researching if the investment is worth it. Thanks for the advice

Triston Well, id say go for it if its on ya heart. I went to IAR in NYC. I have no regrets. SAE is better from what I've heard.
@v3zMedia6 жыл бұрын
You're better off taking that $10k out of that 20 and buying you some great gear. Then go to studio sessions and pay pros to mix tracks. Sit there and pick their brain as they go. Before you know it you'll have a mentor, the gear you bought, clients ect within a way cheaper budget and faster turn around time.... I know a guy with 60k of debt from Full Sail and he calls me to help him. I'm straight out of Trail & Error University. You have KZbin University in 2018. Lol!
