Not a lost episode, but an invite to fill in for the ailing meteorologist Bob Harris (1989 or 1990). You don't think they regretted this, do you?

Officer Leo Schnauzer. I remember Al Lewis as Al Spencer in the episode I Won't Go where Mrs. Bronson (Molly Picon) wouldn't move out of her apartment and she outwitted all the police department and NYC bureaucracy. Great Stuff! I'd have to say that my favorite Car 54 episode was Toody and Muldoon Meet the Russians. Very funny satire! The show really should have run at least another 2 years. I read that Joe Ross was very difficult to work with and that may have had something to do with its short run.

During the early 1980's a friend of mine was in Manhattan near Al Lewis' restaurant and saw him hopping into a taxi cab with a hot looking chick, my old buddy yield out Grandpa waving at him and Al Lewis responded by truing around and gave my friend the finger. I always laugh when I think of that story and remind my old buddy that having Grandpa Munster flipping him the bird was way cooler than ever getting his autograph.. LOL !!!

Come to think of it, neither was Marilyn. Not if she was the daughter of Lily's sister. Perhaps Herman and Lily adopted her. Who knows? Who cares?

Wait a minute. If Grandpa were reporting that it was going to be sunny, then he would say stay inside because he would view sunny weather as bad weather and he would encourage you to go outside if it were rainy and stormy because that would be pleasant weather to him.

It is interesting that Al Lewis when he wore that hat as a celebrity guest weatherman on an evening news broadcast in NYC looked a lot like Red Skelton!

Ya know, calling hum Grandpa Munster is incorrect. He's Grandpa from the Munsters. Munster was Herman's last name. Dracula is Grandpa's actual last name. Then again, Lily called him Grandpa despite the fact that he was her father! But I digress.
