Grampians Peaks Trail, Day One -Flat Rock to Barigar Camp - May 2023.

Been waiting for these! Lovely seeing Mt Stapylton and Bird Rock (and reliving the memories), as well as the route for Day 1. Looks spectacular. One day when I have two weeks and work out the logistics of batteries for I look forward to doing it myself. Might be a worthy spend of some long service leave when I finally accrue it! Oh and the Mt Stapylton descent? Alissa and I didn't think it was anywhere near bad enough to close the walk. But then we'd come through the rest of the walk by then so everything else probably seemed easy, but I do feel like the Grampians has all those hand holds that almost look like a rock climbing wall.

Cheers Don, yes it's a very impressive walk - I'll probably do it again one day when they free things up a bit... maybe a yo-yo!
