Gran Turismo 3 - Prerace Menu

Music from the race/qualify menu in Gran Turismo 3.
Got the music from the game using GT3Vol extractor, MFAudiov11, then converted it to mp3. You wont find this track anywhere, unless you extract it from the game CD yourself.

How come Japanese games don't have this kind of music anymore? When they tried their hands at jazz, hip-hop, dnb and garage the combination was godly. 90s - mid 2000s was something else.

Jeremy McCant GT1's is my favourite, it really gets you pumped with that industrial/mechanical feel it has. But out of the jazzy ones, 3's is the best.

I love the intense, focused, yet somewhat uneasy feeling this song gives off. How the echoing drags the electric piano's notes out, it's like the tune is breathing rapidly.

This song is based off of "Elitsa" by Tosca. Look it up on youtube. CORRECTION: The song Elitsa is based off of the Gran Turismo music.

Jamie Goodson haha yea sorry. I said it was the other way around because I realized the Elitsa song was released in 2009 long after GT3 and 4. I edited my comment to fix this.

Thats because of the format its in. Youll have to use an application like MFAudiov11 to play it/convert it to mp3. You may have to set the frequency, bit rate/ sampling and format etc to get it to play properly.

One of the games I got with my PS2 back in 04'. My copy GT4 doesn't work anymore (or rather, the disc reader on my PS2 doesn't read GT4 disks anymore), so when I want to get some Gran Turismo time, I play GT3. But that's not a bad thing, that's not a bad thing at all.
