Gran Turismo 4's NEW CHEAT CODES, Discovered 19 Years Later!

I was unaware of this until recently, but apparently you need to have **367** days or higher, rather than 365. I wasn't able to test this myself, but this is what I've been hearing including from MattJ155 and others in the comments. Also, after getting to the correct place in the menu, if you press other buttons before entering a code it might interfere with the checker. If you mess up or move the cursor around on accident, exit and re-enter whatever menu you were on and try again. I got it so me and my 2 brothers would take turns doing the races to unlock the RSC Rally Raid car over and over. Got a lot of credits. 👌

It just doesn't feel right to me to get credits without grinding. It feels too unearned. Also I prefer the Tsukuba Wet Race Normal in Special Condition events for grinding. You get 110,000 credits for 3 laps of Tsukuba. 3 easy laps if you use a race car with super soft tires. Only takes 3 minutes.

Did some testing on the PS2 version. Didn't have all gold on the B license, so used the individual gold code on the ones that weren't gold, then entered the test after the sound played. After they were all gold, it gave me the Gold prize car (Honda S500), so that looks like another way to get all the license prise cars! :D

just tested the gold any event one on the Nurburgring 24h endurance race. it's legit. side note: that particular cheat might be huge for the time trial scene. people can finally go for records without suffering through a 24h race. those kinds of races just aren't for me, but if you wanna try it, by all means. cheats are just an option, and ones like these are helpful for time trial players.

Very useful. Is the licence tests related cheats all golds too? I mean even the GT3 Concept and GT4 Prologue licensed test benefits to carry over in a memory card on the full games (past in GT3' case) give only bronze to every licence so it seemed worth asking there. Seen the secret menu one already. I check some GameFAQs from time to time and such cheats they only show the 'unlock this' by playing the game way there are no cheats on many of the other wiki pages that I've looked at. I play through the games anyways but sometimes you want to experiment or can't access something. I hate to find a code to a hidden minigame/hidden Atari game that is listed on the box but only the first game is easily available in game with a collectible uses in a shop besides the code (title screen type codes and the option appears on the menu) while the second Atari game is 100% or the code and I had to use the code so I used the code today as it didn't show up for the 100% message so I had to look online for that. So thanks for these. Will make testing things for playthroughs easier to tell what to get (besides wikis already detailing the cars) and also just good to not waste time on long endurance events or extreme ones I get stuck on.

Ye, the money code works every time. Haven't tried to repeat the "event gold" one. Should theoretically give you a price car every time, if you reset the race.

Yeah the endurance events should be no longer than 2 hours or even less than that, it’s ridiculous although I completed them all before I even knew about this cheat except for 1 24 hour race so I was like “screw it” and did the cheat for that one race I never completed
