For anyone wanting to do a B-Spec run, here are some tips: -Always try to keep the arrow in the dot of the bar. That will mean the driver will keep a decent pace, not too fast and not too slow, and keep mistakes to a minimum. -Like in the video, the most overtakes you can do is at the start of the race, when the tires are fresh and completely healthy. Do an aggressive first lap, and overtake as many cars as you can, but never let the bar reach more than 3/4ths, because the rightmost zone of it where the red is more intense is a guaranteed fail. After the first lap, keep the needle in the dot at the middle, and push to overtake only in ample straights and easy corners. This is especially crucial on high tier races. -Tires are infinitely more important than raw power for normal cars. Even with a stage 4 turbo your car can fail if it keeps going outside the track. The second most important is downforce, which is to be kept always at max to give the AI as much grip as it needs. After those upgrades, you can safely cash back in all the horsepower you put into the vehicle. -As strange as it sounds, if you only play with one driver, at one point it bugs out and it starts regenerating its stats, like you see the opponent drivers do, albeit slowly (at least it did when I played it on the PS3, XL Edition). So you can either bother to manage a couple of them, or just play with a single one. I think it is a bit harder, though, and at a certain point when the races stretch out a lot, you're more prone to make mistakes, but if you stick to it, you can get a mutated regenerating monster capable of soloing the 24 hour race.

@@Andiama The driver has 2 active stats during the race, which are the physical and mental strength. It's those two coloured bars beside the big pace bar, which I assume determines how well the driver goes around and handles the car. Sometimes when you watch other onboards during the race, the AI cheats and regenerates those two bars out of nowhere. I can't recall exactly if it regenerates both bars, or only one, but you can get your driver to do the same around level 50+, iirc. But don't quote me, it's been years since I've played the game.

Actually, the part with Mr Bean being in love with Motorsport is pretty accurate, as Rowan Atkinson used to go to a lot of F1 Races himself. There's even some videos and pictures of him in the...
