Wanna know super weird ass part? It wasn’t in Canada…this was my intro. Looking this up (playing new forza and nostalgia driving me nuts) just now was first time realized in the US, ya, had diff intro for some weird reason. Why mess with perfection, but guess considered them a diff demo than rest of world 😂

I'm Italian but I always played GTs in Japanese, to play early, at 60hz, and to don't miss the new arrangement of TMOTC. It was always a great emotion to hear the new version of this theme at first run in every new GT. GT5 was my first european GT, and it was very sad to miss this emotion when I run it for the first time. :( Remove this song from the game is like removing John Williams's music from Star Wars, a real sacrilege!

Wow this comment was 8 years ago but I want to respond more so recently gran turismo has been stagnant lately what with gt6 and Gt sport while forza has made its Simulation games much better forza 4 and forza 6 were real great with its spinoff series forza horizon being its best by far so forza has gone a long way while gran turismo needs to be the best like in gran turismo 4 good thing gran turismo 7 is coming back soon going back to its roots

My summary of the intros of GT's 1-5 in different versions: GT: Japan > US/EU GT2: Japan > US > EU GT3: US > Japan > EU GT4: US > Japan > EU GT5: Japan > US/EU I do not know if I find myself relevant to judge these intros when the only GT game I spent my time playing the most was GT4, which was my first game in the franchise. Never had a PS3 so that means I can't play GT5 either. I really love how Sony and Polyphony used the songs and have them fitted well with the scenes used in the intro, specially with the American releases. What I like about the Japanese intros is how the make the intros look like anime opening sequences. Intros between US and Japan version from 3 to 5 were pretty close IMO and it's not exactly because of the song choices.
