1:21 Now, this is a bit doubtful. In GT7's the Road marking indicating that a car can enter and pass, but somehow the dirt road is very narrow. Honestly, it's a bit sad that they remove the rally layout of the game, 'cause 75% of Eiger Nordwand in previous GT was a Rally Section. I didn't say that the Short Track is bad, but Eiger Nordwand in GT is very very very big map.

The returning tracks to GT7 look very good, but they all definitely feel like they’re missing certain aspects that made them great. Besides the track differences, some great changes, like making Trial M have a long straight accommodate faster cars, but then not so great additions like only having a very sharp corners at the end, which isn’t fun with slower cars. And aesthetically they’re missing things, like the tree cover in the straight, and here, not as much grass land

4:58 If we look, the GT6 track has much more detail, for example the GT7 version has much less trees. The jump in the GT7 is much smaller... and the color saturation in the GT6 seems to be much stronger, which I happen to love. The GT6 track has a bigger mountain because the GT6 track is much bigger, because it has several layouts, I think it would be right to compare the GT5 track with the GT7 track. I've never been able to play GT6 and that makes me sad, because I prefer the GT6 version even though I've never played it

Sorry but the people are right in this case. Grand Valley is arguably the worst hit here, Deep Valley lost its character for the sake of gameplay, and don't forget Trial Mountain, where they just slapped a big Trial Mountain logo instead of a road that resembles the chicane. It would have been great if the tracks were adopted for modern gameplay but still has the bits and pieces of the old. Look at how Maple Valley in Forza looks like for example, still the same layouts, but made graphically different. PD should have done that. High Speed Ring's change is pretty much negligible.

Fans: Please add back fantasy tracks to Gran Turismo. Polyphony: Ok, let's remake them in a realistic vision, at a very slow pace, because that's all we care about now. Fans: You've changed all the fun areas of the track and they have lost their character. Yay... It's great to see things 'return' to Gran Turismo, however I wish they were updated rather than remade like the original tracks in GT5/6. In GT5 and 6 the tracks were pretty much the same as they were on PS2 but with graphical updates and sometimes overhauls like SS5 and Mid-field Raceway. They asset recycle and update cars from the PS3 games, why not tracks? Polyphony need to stop changing what made their old stuff great. GT Mode sucks and the remade original tracks are downgrades in terms of fun.

Why does Polyphony Digital (PD) have to change all of the classic courses? What's the point of adding the bridge? It takes away a lot of the naturalness. What's the point of removing the tunnel and the jump? PD should FINALLY stop changing old courses! They have ruined "Deep Forest Raceway" and "Trial Mountain Circuit", among other things with very long straights. The highlight of the whole thing was the completely reinterpreted "Grand Valley Speedway"! PD PLEASE STOP THAT!!! Courses can be subtly changed (for example by redesigning buildings) but please keep your hands off the track design! Of course the long entrance and exit of the old pit lane was exaggerated but that is what made this course special, as is the jump after the start/finish. This iconic unique point (pit lane) is now missing. Absolutely incomprehensible.

I was seeing the Mount Panorama comparison in games and honetsly... I was speechless how Beautiful was FM5 beside GT6 (thats looks somehow horrible even being from 2013 for the PS3/PS4) but somehow i dony understand... How literally FM5 looks even better that even FM8, the lightning, the graphics in general... Worse of it IT'S FROM 2013 If we compare GT6 to GT7 we can see the real upgrade here. GT7 was held back by the cross developpement with the PS4. they never had before released a game on 2 generations. GT8 will be the real PS5 GT game. at that point, we will really be able to judge if they are still capable of using a hardware and making a good game
