Honestly I want to but unfortunately in my experience it often become problematic quickly. People don't have cars, don't like tracks, don't read the rules etc.

Our group have built the BMW Mini and the Renault Clio road cars to around GR4 levels. The close racing we have is awesome!

Totally agree with you Womble. I remember the excitement of the very first daily race C of GT7 at Daytona, starting in the dark with the time progression. Apart from the introduction of the occasional longer race, it's been pretty much downhill from there. Your vid just goes to show how creative PD could be, but it's like they dont even care and just put out the same uninspired races week after week. I'm not a fan of wet weather, but it would be cool if 1 out of 5 races was wet or with changing conditions. But anyway, we've bought the game, they've made there money, and we're probably just stuck with what we have. Its a shame!

Yeah the potential that this game has is so under utilised and its just a there waiting to be used...I honestly had a lot of fun doing these races even against the AI...I can only imagine how good it would be to have something similar in sport mode where each race feels completely different to the last one....predictability kills racing

Love what you have done here! Not new to GT but new to GT7 and my first real go at sport was “that” Spa race which was an awesome week! Fooled into thinking that would be every week! Why have fuel if it’s not a consideration? Why have weather, different tyres… preaching to the converted I know! Hey we all have life outside of GT. Do I jump on and do a quick B cos I have time..aye of course I do. But I would also love when I have time a nice long race where I need to think about things other than just going full out for 10 laps. Daily race D, 100% correct cos currently B and C are often far too short and simply boring. Moved to the lobby for my fix!

I'm glad your enjoying it and the perspective of a new player to sport mode versus someone 5-6 years in will definitely differ. I always say GT7 is a great game but poorly managed. Appreciate the comment.

Thank you I appreciate that....yeah im pretty bored as well with sport mode but I actually had a lot of fun making this video. Even doing these races against the AI felt more interesting than a lot if sport mode races.

Great stuff Womble. I am going to try and replicate the one tune of yours that I saw, but this video is incredibly creative. Kudos to you, and I second the idea from one of the commenters that PD should hire you as a consultant, but won't of course. Any chance that we could see the details for the various tunes you have? My partner has an 86 of the same year and model as this, and I've driven in regularly. Lovely little car in real life. EDIT: after watching the whole video, I was reminded of one I saw from another YTuber who bought 16 other cars of the same type and applied different tunes and liveries to what you've done, and raced them all in one race. He virtually had a multiclass race. Of course this could be too complicated for most people, but as you suggest, there are many ways for PD to be more creative.

Iv always toyed with the idea of basically setting up my own daily race C and running it all day every 30 mins or maybe 40 mins I just don't think Iv got the clout or community infrastructure to make it work right now plus lobbies can be a bit sketchy as well....I actually like to see Tidgney try it as he could easily fill the grid and get some big names in as well.

The most annoying thing is we know these settings are there they are just completely ignored. Even just day to night racing adds variety.

Well its no secret that a lot of players don't like tyrewear, fuel worries and weather etc. They just want to drive as fast as possible but this is why they need to make a daily race D....leave A,B and C to appeal to the more casual player and make D full hardcore mode for those of us that like dynamic.

There are so many good options to use for races that PD refuse to bother with. Doing leagues that run all sorts of different combos shows how simple minded PDs combos are. Their fixation with Gr3 and Gr4 all day every day is actually stagnating the game. GTs variety was to be a point of difference and they are sleeping on it.

Tbh its not the combos that bore me its bad settings but they do repeat combos too much as well given what's in the games....theyvwoukd also be wise to make Gr3 and 4 races select cars because about 75% of them never get used!

Yeah, Boring is probably the wrong word. Stale and repetitive is it most likely. And the terrible BoP meaning there's about 12 or more cars completely incapable of being competitive in ANY combo makes it just feel like a lot of thr combos are played out right now. The extra Gr2 and Gr1 racing right now is at least a change

What PD needs to do is hire YOU as the track consultant for sport mode daily activity races. Accronymn; TCDAR- Your responsibility is to provide a daily race “”A” to those that are new to race simulation that will encourage them to continue learning the ins and outs of sport mode with BOP on and yes DR/SR. (This is racing) PD can give this combo 50% DR value and 100% SR value. Less than 10 minute race. Next race “B”. Should be BOP with fuel and tire variables with mandatory pit. 10-15 minute race. repairs done in pit for All A, B or C drivers with a safety rating of “S”. Boy will that get people to be safer. And race “C” well, let’s leave it up to Wombleleader. Heck dynamic weather, Tuning, pitting, mandatory tire change, wow, All in 25 minutes or less. We don’t need longer races, most people don’t race once a day they race probably 4- 5 races before they get tired. Now the question is, We need someone to send this video to the right person at PD, with a cc to Sony. And state that if this does not increase playership by 100% go back to the current way then, otherwise the salary compensation should be commensurate with the value increase provided. ;)

Honestly I'd love to get a couple of weeks being in charge of daily races. Id happily do it for free. Tbh there is plenty folk who would help PD with this problem but they are so closed off there impossible to contact....I did try to appeal to them by applying for a job through Sony lol...was only email contact I could find. Iv had a suspicion for ages that a PD employee watches the channel and I believe there is people at the company who understand the issues and want to change things but don't have senior positions where they can influence stuff.

I have no doubt PD watch the like of you a Tidney. Cos often what you guys say some how changes the next weeks. That said are PD working on GT8 given the new PS pro? Pushing resources to that rather than GT7? Taking the eye off the ball?
