Earlier this year I went to Autobacs Tokyo, the store Jeremy Clarkson visited in his Motorworld Japan episode. They had a shelf dedicated to "Suzuki Jimny Performance Parts". The shelf included new shifters, brakes, springs, intake manifolds, bumpers, and more. Just in case you're wondering if anyone in the world actually cares about the Suzuki Jimny as much as Gran Turismo 7 would imply.

Soooo, we already have the Jimny since January update. But that’s the Kei version with a 658cc Engine. This here is the Jimny Sierra, aka the 1.5 liter version. It’s also known as the Export model available around the world, except USA and Canada. I bet that THIS is the exact Jimny sold here in the Philippines as well! I have a Cousin and he owns one of these, and another friend of mine had his friends take their Jimnies through Off-road camping. I didn’t ask for this, and the Hiace from last month, but it’s a wonderful surprise for me and players from my country. 🇵🇭

Why don’t they add this version in the first place? This just made the Kei-Car version obsolete. Why PD thinks we need two Jimnys in the game, where’s one is significantly slower than the other one.

The Kei version is quite capable on the Kei races and you can use it there, so I think this version is more capable in clubman or other more races, but I'm assuming a bit. Also, a bit more Variety for the Jimny Cup

@@sweetrushentertainment2524 and honestly this isnt even a bad thing, people conplain but i kinda like it. I just wish it wasnt presented as an aditional car, but an actual different SPEC because thats what it... But i dont wish them to go away at all..

0.66L 63HP vs. 1.5L 100HP. Export versions are equivalent to this Sierra.

Also, the bodywork between the two Jimnies are different. The Jimny XC is narrowed, and the Sierra (aka Export model) is wide.

@@Normalaatsra Duplicate? Those are trim models. You can see a difference between one variation to another, even though the car is the same. GT was into those since PS1. Also, people complaining simply don’t know what car culture or GT is all about and thinks that only one variation is enough for them. They don’t know any better, they keep whining like a bunch of 8 year olds. Lmao

one is a Japan exclusive (kei car) the sierra is the international model

Engine, This Jimny is 1.5 Liter Motor 105 Horsepower or K15B. The other in the game is K06A Inline 3 Turbocharged 64 hp, and a "Kei Car" class
