What we need is the old model with the current indicator - my issue with the old system was that the tyres would completely turn off at c.50% wear. If it did that at an indicated 5-10% then it would be spot on!

My biggest issue is that the tyres perform to good for to long....basically the first 50% of the tyre has full grip, 50-80% drops by about a second and its only after 80% wear you really feel the tyres dying. In itself that ok if it was a singular tyre compound but the issue comes when we have multiple compounds as a 75% soft still performs better or at least equally than a fresh medium let alone a fresh hard tyre....this kill strategy and is why people run dead softs rather than be on hard tyres I'm planning on a video next week that should hopefully demonstrate this

Another comment. I really try to have a positive stance with GT7, but the game is really in a shit moment right now. Servers/game freezing before races, in gtws I had the bug with qualifying not starting, sometimes massive lag spike during races, and the same races every other week. I think it will get better, of course. But it will be too late. A shame, because the game is fantastic

The "server" issue has definitely done a lot of damage to the game in my opinion....im hoping for a good update this month to make up for it!! I agree the game itself is superb with endless potential....the biggest issue is the people in charge of setting the races up...no creativity!

Love the combo an will b racing it for sure. Shame about the tyre thing, it’s quite hard to drive ruined tyres on the pad tho so will prob use the box 👍

I hate driving on ruined tyres not because I can't it just feels wrong...I force myself to do extra laps on the hards now even it probably cost me positions from not using an "exploit"

I've given up hope of ever seeing any of the Tokyo or st Croix variations as daily race C in GT7. It seems like they've stuck on certain circuits only, which are just in constant rotation. I don't expect it to change either as PD seem completely deaf to the playerbase.

Indeed disappointing....not that I have anything against Gr3 at Watkins....even a change to the time and weather setting is to much effort. Its always the defaults!!

Agree, stupid how much life you could get put of the softs at the Nurb GP last week. But still everyone was pitting in my races (B and C lobbies).

Tbh I kind of like how in the lower lobbies driver pit before the tyres die completely....make more sense than driving on red tyres even if its a slower strategy!!

The M6 Enduro (same as Sprint?) is great on tyres. I was able to get 10 laps on softs in testing, concentrating on being smooth. That enabled me to start on hards, pit end lap 1 for softs, or start on softs and pit end lap 9. It opens up a heap of strategies. EDIT: not being able to see ur gear indicator on ur rig: yeah, found this to be a problem with the G Pro wheelbase. Its a chunky boy! I race in VR, so not normally a problem, but when racing flatscreen i put a cushion under my bum and move the rig back 12 inches. May not be possible for u 😢

in my opinion, the tire wear multiplier is too high for the number of laps. in the last races C, this ends up causing people to race for 2, 3 or even 4 laps with dead tires, which is stupid...

For me its the tyrewear model thats the issue. In the old one the tyres were 2 seconds of pace after 50% wear and they dropped of on laptime in a much more gradual way. You could still use them if trying an extreme strategy but at least never had this ridiculous thing of driving on fully red tyres....it was much better for strategy!

How can be a Japan studio so lazy like PD are? Disappointment 3 out of 4 weeks on a month... so amateurs Was asking much to turn this race to a gr2 ou gr4? Minimun effort, but at least wasn't repeatable
