It was a real mistake to add the VGTs to a class with real cars. The first Gran Turismo had the concept car, so I get why they're in the game. However I think most people (including me) don't find them interesting or compelling and would like them to be in a silo away from challenge laps or daily races. Having them in Gr1 is just silly.

watching your Gr1 and Gr2 races are quite fun. HOPEFULLY PD adds some of the current LMDH cars (most importantly the Lamborghini SC63) but also the Ferrari 499, Porsche 963. I would also love to see an expansion of Gr2. SUPER GT should be extended to at least European Manufacturers as well (imagine Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 spec’d for Gr2)

Personally its not about getting good, its about having fun and enjoying it. Once you enjoy it and spend more and more time doing it, you get much better and it gets much easier. From experience - I've only started playing gt7 (or any racing sim) only a year ago, but I enjoyed it so much that I'd say I gotten pretty decent real quick! Just wish I had people to play fun custom endurance races with me 😅

I don't think the Nissan is working as it should. When it raced IRL it was FWD, slow and very understeery because it didn't have energy recovery unit (it wasn't ready yet) - which was supposed to drive rear wheels making the car AWD and giving it a very different behavior. The game devs seem to have put the energy recovery unit into the car, but then why is this car still so slow and why does it behave like that?

I feel like PD is having some licensing issues which is why the cars are groupped like that instead of going with lmp,dtm,gt3 etc. But at the same time we do have "Group B" so i dont know...

Group B as a rally class was demolished so PD could do whatever they want there. There was a leaked Group A daily race in GT Sport years ago and has no eligible cars.

Gr.1 and Gr.2 are definitely the worst I think. Gr.3 and 4 don't have perfect BOP but they don't feel like complete mismatches to me, unlike 1 and 2.

Grand turismo needs to update these races like how Le Mans does IRL. Don't put all cars in one group in the start. Program the lobby with slots for each group when filled forces players to pick a different class. Hypercar, LMP2, and LMGT3 starts in different sections of the track.

I don't think they need to look at Group 1. I think they are doing exactly what they want with it in this race. Just play with a cool car and have a challenge. I really enjoyed watching this.

Gr1 are an absolute nightmare lmao, I agree. I've tried balancing all the gr1 cars myself so I can play some fun custom endurance races but man is it painful. But I'd say I did a pretty decent job so far. If anyone wants some (fairly) balanced tunes, or wants to help me tune the cars better then I'm happy to talk :D

I don’t race Gr A often, so tried Merc Sauber first - a terrible experience, the car is uncompetitive at all. It’s basically 918 vs Toyota vs Bugatti, while Bugatti feels like a cheat car. There’s no way on earth it could have that much downforce without a fan behind like in a Brahman or a Spierling.

I'm sorry to break it to you but your dummy move is exactly that, dumb😅 Really it's just backward. Instead of faking high and going low you should fake low and go high. Whether there is anyone there or not you can't take that turn on the inside with momentum. A NASCAR will cross a formula 1 car in that turn😅 you pretty much always want to be on the outside on the entry in every turn on the track except for the high speed left. Pretty much every turn is designed for a switchback but for it to be a switchback you got to be on the outside lol. In my opinion it's the best track for winged cars for that reason. For both cars to maintain momentum throughout pretty much every turn on the course, they have to be out of alignment so they are both getting full downforce. I love the formula races here

You should have faked to the right and faded high. Also would have upset your car less and preserved balanced inertia. It worked out for you though because the bump draft you gave him put him at an unexpected entry speed so he blew it either way. He didn't really break late you bumped him late. 8:53 you chose to ride the inside paint forcing the drafting cars to take the outside lane which preserves their momentum and angle of attack. You did a good job averting their draft coming out of the turn anticipating where they were going to go but you should have faded back high and done a Joseph Newgarden "dragon" and maintained that high outside line forcing the drafting cars with the higher speed to the inside because they would of course blow the apex leaving you a lane to carry your inertia through the apex from the outside. Instead you kept to the inside killing your own angle of attack and momentum through the turn and to preserve as much as you could you upset the car by taking it wide too late and essentially ruining your angle of attack. 10:17 "I'm going to move left and dummy back to the right, worked out as perfection" -you carry too much momentum into the apex and blow your exit can't get on the gas until late giving the person behind you a chance to peek out your outside and take away your angle of attack for the high speed turn you need to make to not get a penalty or not get passed in the long bend which you would have been had they not taken each other out. To conclude, you are by far the best driver I have seen on KZbin and have real potential at professional racing. I'm not quite sure why someone hasn't picked you up already. But I do have a lifelong experience of actual racing and championships and if you would ever like some real competition and coaching through the real thing, I would love nothing more than to be your scrimmage when you need it lol.
