Mclaren F1 cost 18 million credits. That requires literally months of grind. Or you could just pay almost 200 dollars and get it. This is not acceptable in any way.

I really hope they see all the backlash and do something about these crazy prices. A 70 dollar game really shouldn’t have so many micro transactions

Yamuchi says it's important to have the car prices linked to real world prices and the motto for this game is, Real Driving Simulator, yet you can't sell your cars to make some extra money. So just how realistic is this game then?

I get that Polyphony wants Gran Turismo to last, but they didn't need to nerf the payouts that much.

I agree, I like a grind as well, but this is ridiculous. The lack of races is mind blowing 🤯 Get'em Pants! 😎

This is why prefer Forza to Gran Turismo right now. You can play both offline and online in Forza, and you don't really have to worry about micro transactions. It's utterly ridiculous how GT has them. And honestly Forza Horizon 5's wheel spins have better RNG than these ticket things

Dude I totally agree . It honestly made want a refund . I should be able to play offline for a $60 dollar game . They didn’t even give us anything as compensation for not being able to play for over a day

The way the payouts got cut in half are so contradictory to Kazunori's statement about 'wanting players to enjoy lots of cars without microtransactions'. And ironically 2 days later they slap us in the face with a McLaren f1 that no one who has slept properly in the past 2 weeks can afford in this time. They think we're stupid and we don't know what they're up to.

100% agree. Did you see the price of McLaren F1 within Legend Cars? 18 500 000 credits. And now Porsche 917K is also 18M. Absolutely ridiculous. LOL

As much as I want to see micro transactions removed, I doubt it’ll happen. If they do stay, PD at least need to add a “Test Drive” feature to the dealership. If I’m about to throw down $40 for a car I want to at least test drive it first. Something like 1/2 laps round Trial Mountain…

In Update 1.09 Polyphony will introduce paying for gas, also while in the cafe, your credits drop 100cr every 5 minutes (someone has to pay the cafe dude). In update 1.10 if you hit something with your car, u have to repair it at a premium cost, also the prices for the used cars will be adjusted (upwards) due to economic reasons…

If Polyphony wanted players to experience more cars and tracks rather than grind, why didn't they just buff the payouts of races that players weren't grinding as compared to nerfing the ones that they were?

Honestly not surprised the game acted up when it gets booted offline due to how to them wanting you to be online half the times. When I heard microtransactions were brought in I knew the grind was going to be bs levels and kinda glad I don't have a Sony console or else I'd have bought the game and I'll stick with grid legends and f1 for now
