The physics of PC2 is great. I don’t have GT Sport but my Sim league mates say it’s very Arcady and feels floaty. They always go back to PC2. I have ordered GT7 cost me £80 hope it’s worth it.

Gt sport is really great. It´s a perfect balance of arcade/sim. In no way I would call it floaty. It feels very heavy and grounded. On other hand PC2 feels too clunky for my taste. There is something not right about the physics and car feel. I personally play Gt sport, Assetto Corsa, PC2, Dirt rally. They really fucked up PC3, shame. Gt hits the sweet fun spot for me. I hope they will improve the physics in Gt 7 even more though. Have fun :)

@@herrlogan17 thanks mate - good summary, I have high hopes for GT7 as I've been only playing PC2 for ages and its time for a change, its been a great time but time moves on. As said I havent tried GT Sport so will looking forward to a change and hope I get a good opinion like yourself. Not long to wait now - I am sure it will be a great time for us Sim racers. Question - do you play on a wheel or pad? Im a Fanatec CSL Elite user

@@mart099 So you are a lucky one :) No, sadly I play on old logitech G25. Force feedback is really a thing for PD to improve. But I play on Cronusmax adapter, so my experience is definitely a little odd. For a car/flight simmer I prefered flight sim equipment. It is really great that Fanatec made a new wheel for Gt7 though.

I’ve spend more than 1000hours on GT Sport and something around 100 hours on PC2 Honestly, the cars feels way more floaty on PC2 , in GT Sport i feel that i’ve got the full control of the car ( i use a T-GT wheel for both games ) I really hope that PC4 is gonna be close to the physic of PC1, because he’s the best of the licence so far

even at 30 fps pcars2 is way more fun. than gt7. gt may look better sometimes but is booooring, then, when you get a wheel and a vr headset pcars2 absolutely destroys everything...

I would add things to GTSPORT for example be able to change the strategy on the fly, receive information from Engineers, multiclass races, and few more cars on the grid that will be amazing but for now we need to be happy with dynamic weather 🤷‍♂️

GT:s are games that could be awesome. But as the series is a "system seller", it's always a simcade. It's fun, yeah. No problem with that. But really not something that aligns with a simulation or real-world driving. These YT-videos are not good for seeing the differences in graphic quality. When I had my PS4 Pro and my previous laptop-gaming PC (Rtx 2060) attached to the same TV and played Project Cars 2 on both, switching the HDMI-input... I saw what I could not unsee. I sold my PS4 and PS4 Pro and bought two gaming PC:s. Never again.

PC2 seems intensive on your computer or is just dropping frames... GT7 looks smoother and more polished but PC2 has serious attention to detail.

he's playing it on the PS4 pro, this isn't an issue o PC since the game is fairly well optimzed, i used to have a 5700xt and i got 160fps on 1080p, on 1440P with a 3090 i get over 200fps, i've even tried on 8K i don't remember what the fps was, i think around 70? something like that, so the game is optimized fairly well.

So basically a 5 year old game 2017 game is as good as a new 2022 year game. PC2 is still an awesome sim. Just wished they made PC3 a better evolution. No pits, no leagues, no broadcast no nothing. PC2 FTW

Yes, or they could've just made pc2 better, (the best one in the pc series imo), some parts of the game looks unfinished, instead they abandoned it, made whole new game which was even worse than it's predecessors

I gotta say I'm super happy GT7 has no lens flare. Lens flares in any pov game is just wrong. My eyes aren't cameras

THOSE WHO DOESNT SEE THE BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH, NEED GLASSES OR A SHRINK.. GT7 IS A LONG WAY AHEAD ON GRAPHICS..
