I was thinking about the next update in GT7. Maybe, It'll add 10 cars including GT3 Race Cars, such as Chevrolet Corvette Z06.R GT3, Ford Mustang GT3, BMW M4 GT3 and Ferrari 296 GT3. Maybe it'll have a new circuit. Maybe Indianapolis or Circuit Gilles Villneuve.

Perhaps they are taking longer because they need to test cars again with the physics update. There are some cars that just don’t work well with the new physics or have zero feedback or very, very low detail. So perhaps they will be adjusting the handling again or just feedback on certain cars.

While I'm also a huge F1 fan (and dream of playing on all the track in various eras of vehicles, looking at you Ferrari F2005, in VR), I don't think that's a priority for PD. It's hard for them to get licensing rights for both tracks and cars (especially cars specific to Motorsports that already have their own, competing, videogame franchise). And then it's time consuming for them to laser scan and then accurately recreate in gt7. A lot of this takes time, and is why we tend to get VGT's and fantasy tracks (PD own the IP for those, so they can work on them without much legal hassle/setbacks)

Something that I personally would like to see in a future update is better livery tools and options. First off, I would love to see an option to use the custom paints we buy for decal color options. One of the most infuriating things building liveries that I have experienced, trying to place a decal only to have it bleed through. For example: I tried using decals to fill in the center (lowered) part of the door on my Tomahawk. I only wanted that center part filled in and nothing else. But every time I tried to do that, it would bleed through to the other parts of the car. Plus it wouldn't completely cover that center part. The area where it curves in would still be the same color as the paint of the car. There's also been instances where I've attempted to line up a decal along the edge of the car's body lines only to have the decal stretched and skewed along a different part of the car. I know I can limit the angle of the decal, but that doesn't always work. There have been times that limiting the angle results in too much of the decal being removed. Either a line that doesn't match up with curves and body lines of the car or massive portions of the decal missing, making it ridiculously obvious.

I can say this. GT 7 is the most epic installment so far. This installment has had more updates and physics changes and player engagement than any other release. I'm going to Iracing because the online racing experience is more enjoyable. Unless Poliphany can do something about troll drivers that turn people like myself off from racing, I will stick to racing AI and doing the lap time challenges. The Daily Racing is tough to improve because you spend more time avoiding trolls than focus on a REALISTIC racing experience. I do love that they allowed tuning this week in Daily Races to bring a more variety of cars though.

The majority of the update cars will always be road cars, its all its been for the updates tge last 2 years and dont expect that to ever change. For me its a good thing, 10 cars will most likely not happen maybe 5-6, 2 new tracks is a big no, no new track this month, proably just one new track fro ps5 pro update

For classic muscle cars, I've noticed if you use a less grippy tire in the front, it adds stability. So if you use race tires do RS in the rear and RH/RM in front.

I would be happy if they just fixed all the problems with the game, how wrong is it that you get penalised for not being able to get into a lobby, have to fill in a form and then you cop a penalty for the next race. PD could not run a turd hunt in a pooh pit.

This probably an unpopular opinion, but I hope they don't release GT8 for a few years yet. I don't have confidence that they'd be able to make GT8 good, especially with how...lacklustre GT7 feels. And these updates, yeah I guess they aren't 'obligated' to keep updating it, but GT7 just doesn't feel finished. Whenever I play GT7 I always just think "something's missing". And yeah maybe a GT8 would fix that, but seeing the direction Kaz seems to want to take the series, someone get him away from GT8!

But even then there's no where for us to give feedback or anything, nor would Polyphony listen to their fanbase anyway. I guess when GT8 does come out, the servers for GT7 will be shut down and it'll be left to be forgotten.

They. Could just release an offline patch like they did with sport, and they proably already putting more focus forward gt8 already, with a release date of 2026 or 2027, Gt8 will proably include everything gt7 has just better in every area, so keep playing gt7 then would make zero sense.

After 1.50 the single player game is very scuffed. Your car is easily knocked off the track by the ai, grip levels on certain fr cars are broken, the ai is even worse as it tries to drive through you and last but not least, is there really any point to this game anymore?

Polyphony isn’t obliged to release any updates, personally I’d would leave updates to every 3-6 months with a large update every time with better tracks and dozens of cars, but that’s just me giving an opinion..

I’d be happy if they just fix these horrible physics. The game feels like you’re using a controller on a game meant for a steering wheel, too many cars are trash to drive now. It’s just not as immersive too with the ai cars spinning out and crashing all the while.

For the people wishing for more cars and tracks, it takes time for Polyphony to make such things. It takes a lot of hard work and talent to make, test, and program tracks, cars, features, ect. It takes time, considering that they have more projects to work on, budget and licensing restrictions, and the massive glitch that brought down several computers worldwide

They are more than good enough, what it needs is more content. Their is currently no racing game that can touch how good gt7 car models looks even during gameplay, some of enviroments in some tracks is not the best, but its not really that much of a big deal.

The cars from 1.49 were an absolute yawn. Another M3 car out of all the BMW models made throughout time? All 6 cars felt like cars I already own in the game. We cant get a Saleen S7 or Spyker C8 again? Why not the clown shoe BMW M Coupe? I still think the Tommy Kiara ZZ should be in the game... come polyphony.
