I played so much GT2, this has made me very happy! After reviewing the specs, my money was on the NSX or RX-7 winning due to their power to weight ratios, but the Evo 6 came out of nowhere with insane runs every time. Such a great watch!

NSX and RX-7 arent built for drag race, they are performance cars in turn. In a race with a lot of corner, the supra would be last, followed by the chaser. RX7 would be first with the nsx, followed by the r34 if there is some straight lines.

I love how in these cars in the rolling race you don't have to push 5 different buttons, turn 4 dials according to the sun angle and fiddle with the paddles to get into sport mode. You push the pedal, you go full power.

Uhm i hate to say it, but you dont have to press anything other than the gas pedal, dct gearboxes cannot be beat by any human. And if we are talking about a modern manual ( if there is such a thing) it works the same. Clucth in, shift down, rev match, clutch out and push it. I dont even wanna mention an electric car, as those dont even have a lag in a rolling race due to not having a gearbox.

Agreed. All engine and manual gearboxes. The traction control is your right foot. I have a 2002 Boxster S and it is just that. Flat 6 and a 6spd. No nannies except abs. Modern cars are a work of engineering, but nothing beats old school analog

AYC, active centre diff, big brembos (bigger than the Gtr)…the Evo is an all rounder. The braking test in this video doesnt prove anything. He literally said “I need new pads”

Idk how you can justify NOT including the venerable GTO Twin Turbo. But i did love the nostalgia, bring the menu music and the 3 tone race start music you used as the race was starting. This takes me back to better days. I played my Gran Turismo for hours and forgot about the rest of the world. So this was pretty kick ass.

The Chaser is one of my favorite cars of all time. If I won enough money, I'd buy 4 or 5 of them. It's very aesthetically pleasing. The shape of the car, the lights, bumpers, everything just goes really good together. It's hard to pick out what I don't like, I can usually pick one or two things at least... not with the Chaser.
