Gran Turismo (PS1) Drift Physics !? | Exhibition Lap

I haven't found any drifting videos of this game on all of youtube (Only GT2), so out of curiosity I decided to try it myself if it was possible. With some good car tuning and some practice I was able to push the game's drift physics to the limit and this is what I got!

I never realized the game would actually show the camber of the wheels. I also never tried 12 12 camber sooooo lol This is really cool though 👍

Gonna try this on my Miyoo mini plus but first i gotta rack up some credits. With only a dpad its gonna be a challenge.

In your opinion which has better drifting gt1 or gt2?

Hi! I think that they are quite similar, but I feel that GT2, having more customization options and different cars, makes it easier to prepare a car for drift. I imagine that in GT2 it is better because there are more videos about it and for GT1 there were none until I made mine. I also think that these are not games prepared for this style of driving, this changed with GT3 and later games. Anyway, thanks for stopping by! :)

Is there some sort of guide to setting cars up for the right use? Or do you just need to know about cars? I am useless with cars in real life so if thays the case im doomed 😅

Hi dude, another question. How to change the downforce settings, does something else need to be purchased? Weight reduction or something did you do? Thanks for you reply btw! I have since been playing around with settings a bit more i think im beginning to understand some of it bit better 😊

I'm not very sure but I think it has to do with the Racing Modifications, I think that once you make that improvement you have several adjustable parameters including the downforce

@@nedspaghetti69 As for the weight reductions I installed them all, unfortunately aesthetic parts cannot be modified in this game. The car used is a Nissan 180SX Type X which is only obtainable on the second-hand market, when you upgrade it to Racing Modification it acquires that cool pink color :D I hope I have helped you and thanks again for your comments! ​​@@outdatedgemsgot downforce settings figured out yesterday. Wish id waited for your reply tho because ive gone and bought the racing mod before applying all the weight reductions 😅. Now i cant do it aha. Do you think its worth for me to sell & rebuild? I assume adding racing mod makes a weight reduction anyway. Would it be even less with weight with the weight reductions done first? Btw totally not copying your setup! Aha. Nah im gonna make ur exact same car to test its settings on other cars to compare. I really wanna get the best drift experience from this.
