GT7 is at it's absolute best in changeable conditions. The current single player weekly has an hour race at Spa and doing that in VR with a bit of rain through the night and then a torrential downpour in the morning was an absolute blast

forza isnt even in the same conversation! Nothing out there compares with the atmosphere and the lighting and the detail of this race and you know PD is using this as a benchmark to expand upon... Just needs the roar of the crowd, more smoke, mist, fog, coloured flares smoke and camp fires and frost and ice and snow in the next update lol pretty sure thats not too far of a stretch for the PS5 really considering its still a cross gen game!!! Imagine PS5 Pro let alone from the ground up PS5! And PD havent even doubled the amount of cars on grid which we are used to every generation..... So PD are after stability before they add more elements to the game! The rain and wet tracks and puddles and dry lines is well done and thought out in comparison to what forzas definition of wet or rain is.... what can i say the lighting, the atmospheric lighting from behind and the shadows being cast and the correct way the rear brake lights glow and illuminate everything in the dark again there is no competition regarding this.... PD have themselves to blame if they mess this all up GT is only going to get more epic tracks and content going forward

Pro GT3 drivers use traction control, there is no shame turning it on in the wet.

I think that the Squeegee Effect (cars ahead of you push the water off the racing line making better grip for those following) is a bit too strong in this sim, tho that doesn't take away from Rory's comeback. Gets very unnerving when the entire field is within 4 seconds of each other...
