@gr8td3cepti0n3 OH hey, it was interesting. I met a few of the so called dirty drivers right away, and they pushed me out 2~3 times, but in the end I could still land a 4th because they kept running each other races and I was all "through goes rory" on that. I noticed that for now, all I have to do is avoid accidents, but if I climb, I'll really have to get better, since my times are always +2~2,5 of rory times.

@@JunoBuh Congrats, finishing in the top half if the grid is always good for the DR/SR. I found in the lower ranked lobbies if you quali high (Pole-3rd) you can pretty much separate from the field and bad drivers. Also I found what works for me if I don't know the track well is not qualify and work my way thru the pack but to finish top 10 while the bad drivers wreck each other...lol Like you my times are around 2-2.5secs of Rory's as well. If you can run your race laps consistently as your quali times you will do very well and is one step to getting faster.

Now, at St. Croix, a track I've spent some time because of that Bugatti challenge, I managed to get a good time, and keep starting 2~3; it's going well just like you said (got pole once but it was a disaster). I'll be trying the not qualifying tip on that gr4 track since I'm completely unfamiliar to it. See you!!

The Countach was my poster car (it still is, I have one on the wall in front of me as I type.) IRL it was everything you would expect it to be, though a bit long in the tooth now when compared to modern cars, especially the brakes. The Diablo GT was an amazing car, though not the most comfortable to drive with it's markedly offset pedals and limited headroom. Unfortunately I wrote mine off! Ho hum.

5:44 that part of the track is my favourite with the concrete strips. The next part “KZbinr corner” is similar like the sequel that doesn’t quite live up to the original 😅 Still great but not as good as the first section of corner leading up to it.

Remeber GT5. We had a bunch off guys running roadcars mainly on Nordschleife. PP500 upp to PP 600. My tag SRT Speedy😅. Cant wait to get this track on Forza. You realy see how little the physics has changed in these years. Identical lines, identical curbriding as in 2010.

Had a very similar one, except I was leading and was silly enough to not drop back a little before the straight. He slipped me and we had a lovely scrap on the final 2 turns. I came second by less than 0.1 seconds.

Hey rory, and others, do you think on the final straight when in the same car as whats ahead a bump first and then a pass will help prevent them coming back on me? Is there time for that you think? Or do i need to try and be further back before the straight?

I think the closest you are to the end better it is (to overtake and win), if you have like a lot of space, at the end of the straight, the speed delta I'll be bigger which means the opponent will not have enough time to recover than if you overtake in the beginning, maybe not a bumb but a lift to be in a good position

@@ElswordGm cheers, I appreciate it. The lift is what I've been struggling with, when I do no matter how little a lift it ends up leaving me side by side at best. As I type that I'm thinking I'm probably lifting to deep into the draft and I should lift earlier and let the draft pull me in so I'm not losing speed ... I'm timing it wrong I think. Gotta love the comment section sometimes, thanks mate.

I think GT8 on the Ps6 will be the untouchable one. GT has been so successful for them that they will continue to just pour in resources. Not even Forza can keep up at this point. I think the next one will be completely photo-real and as they said their GT Sport models they took were good for "20 years" I bet you they are already developing and will be at launch or year 1.

I feel like GT7 is the worst out of all of the Gran Turismo's, but in comparison to _everything else,_ I have to agree. It *_is_* untouchable. Nothing really comes close.

Forza motorsport did such a terrible job even beating it’s previous title let alone anything else , assetto etc are best experienced on pc and other titles that are fun people don’t even know came out like the most recent grid really puts GT in a league of its own

To make matters worst, there are a ton of cars from previous titles that are no longer in Gran Turismo 7. Mr. Kaz is adding them slowly to the game with updates, but it's still painful not seeing some of the cars that made Gran Turismo...well....Gran Turismo, from the start.

You should try to get rid of that 'arcade' bad habit of braking by down shifting into the rev limiter.. Cars don't break like that, engines do, literally. Higher revs are needed for acceleration, not for braking.
