Steve is is a very fun to watch guy but Gran Turismo gives a lot of good opportunity of having fun with his excellent ranking skill system, absolutely bullshit penalty system, nice controls, bizarre fantasy tracks and superb graphics Even if you are not into Gran Turismo I think that everyone can agree that the series exudes charm

one thing that baffles me cuz i don't play GT is the fact that why he's always kinda late to shift the gear up for about 1-2 seconds late.. i wonder why cuz the sooner you shift when it's reved, the faster.. or im wrong, anyone care to elaborate??

@@Toki-Ralte higher revs produce more power, but you shifting too late ends up over revving which results in a loss of power. Also, if he's nearing an apex and he's high on revs it's useless to upshift because you need to downshift for rotation anyway.

Rule 101: If the Pole sitter starts on the Medium and you're on the Softs, do your best to pass and leave them in the dust or else you're screwed, that happened to me. Qualified 4th and dropped down to 11th thanks to traffic and almost everyone around on Mediums but despite that I had really good pace at the start and I was leading at some point so there's big points to gain. (I'm with McLaren for this season) Hope we encounter in upcoming rounds, and congrats on you getting good haul of points.

Decent effort Steve, with one mistake in the infamous death chicane. I switched from Citroen to Chevrolet, really struggled with understeer here, no wonder since I have driven a lot with gr3 MR cars lately. I did the same softs-medium strategy from P5 in time slot 3 (messed up quali in first two tries). I struggled with the mediums in first two slots from the back-midpack on first stint, ended up in too many fights and lost time, so I played it safe. Fell down to P7 in the race, but okay result anyways. Unusual car for me and the race pace was not that good all night, so I am quite happy.

One of my fav races around this track - i hit the chicane right hand wall but instead of it bouncing me off to the left on exit - it stopped me completely dead - BUT not ghosted for some reason. It was like the game froze at the point i touched the wall. As if the game did not know what to do. So the 4 people who next came into the chicane, all hit me as if i was a solid object in the middle of the road.

The guys in 14th, 15th, and 16th were separated by 0.044 across the three of them - where in a 25 minute race could they have saved half a tenth? This is why racing is so fascinating, entertaining, and so much fun; there's countless untold stories of battle between racers who came up perhaps just short of their personal best or on top of their pack.

2 funny/dumb things I done... I got a damaged car hitting a ghost in the death chicane, thought that was a bit unfair lol, and in another race I somehow put med tires back on at the pitstop from 3rd posi and leading m car by 2 seconds. Uhg, had to do a second stop finished in 15th lol. Great vid and mate.

I was really looking forward to this race just because I enjoy Dragon Trail Seaside and I was also looking forward to trying the Lexus RC F for the first time around this track. Found out that the Lexus is actually better than I was expecting and qualified pole position. So I was satisfied however that changed quickly because lap 1 corner 1 the Mercedes behind me just forgot the car had brakes and punted me straight off into the gravel. Made me frustrated but I can’t do anything so I just have to move on. More than anything I’m just disappointed because this would’ve been a fun race and it was ruined on lap 1 for me. And for those who think that this was a low rated lobby this was A/A+ S so I consider it to be fairly high. Looking forward to group 4 around Suzuka though!
