I ran this race 4 times with finishes of 2nd, 2nd, 2nd and 6th. Those 3 2nd places finishes were actually in the AMG Chungus! The Mercedes is actually really good BoPwise! The 6th place was in that Supra! The winners of those races were actually a Porsche, a BMW, a Brazilian BMW who sent people to the shadow realm, and then a dirty Canadian RS01 who wrecked half the field to win.

Oh man, this channel is amazing! I used to upload some Gran Turismo 4 videos back in the day... then i started playing Call of Duty and my channel started getting some attention, so i quit playing other games. The new CODs are so trash i got back to playing Gran Turismo again. I bought GT Sport and increased my GT collection. GT1, GT2, GT3, GT Tokyo Geneva, GT4, GT5 Prologue and now GTSport. Let's face it, in terms of real world engineering, the Toyota FT-1 is basically a Supra in a big hat and baggy coat, nonchalantly whistling while looking the other way.

The ft-1 is literally the concept version of the supra it was what Toyota originally revealed when they announced the supras return since it's a concept car only 1 actually exists but there are plenty of body kits to make a retail mark v look like the ft-1

I don't know why but I am addicted to your videos. I just got into sim racing about 2 years and a few months ago. Enjoy a few titles, but mainly play rally games, and upgraded my set up three times. But I have never been interested in GT, because mainly I am a PC player. However, I love the fun you have, and passion. So much so, that I am trying to a hold of a PS4 just to play GT 7 when it comes out. Late reply, but I really like both so I think it would've been nice to have the FT1 as the lfa successor and the mk5 supra for the supra successor. But having 2 cars that has similar looks would probably give it a reputation similar to honda and their copypaste approach to car manufacturing lol.

if you guys want some good alternate cars to use this week, the m6, gtr, and mclaren (if u can handle mr oversteer and rear tyre wear) are all solid choices. the mustang can work too but it has the turn in of a double decker bus so you have to be really slow into corners to be quick around a lap

I used the FT-1 yesterday for this race, I was keeping up with the top 3 Supra racers in the first half of the race and I was sitting comfortably in 4th place, but when I switched to the medium tyres on the 7th lap I just couldn't keep up with them, and I finished the race about 10 seconds behind them in 5th place. The Supra seems to be superior on mediums for this track.

May have also been a case of Supra drivers using medium drivers on first stint.. Still, I have similar experiences with FT-1 on other tyres than softs, seems to struggle a bit.

I love this track Dragon Trail Seaside in Gr.3 or Gr.4 cars, I hope they plan to keep it in GT7, I nearly always start this race C from the back, it can get messy at times but some times I've came in at position 4 from 18th and I consider myself an average driver Great video as always, keep up the good work :-)

A while back when GT Sport was still a bit new.. I raced on the Dragon's Tail with the Mazda 6 gt3 and it was a race between me, a guy with a citroën gt and a Beetle gt3. One of my favorite memories because it was a constant battle for first place and I managed to take the lead at the very end with the beetle being only .500th of a second behind. The guy with that French vehicle was quick but really sloppy around the chicane of death.

I beat the META Toyota in the FIA Nations race this past summer in a solid A lobby, in my Porsche RSR… I was pretty stoked, was only my second FIA win and went against the grain with the 911. Good video!

Love this race this week, although it would've been cool to have fuel taken into account. I notice the Beetle is really good around the chicane and it's easier to control through there. I don't like to drive the Supra for some reason. The FT-1 VGT is pretty OP if you go from mediums to softs on lap 4, given that you don't get stuck behind someone slow, but even then this strategy works very well. Gone from 7th to 1st in a couple races with that tactic. The tire wear is so good that the softs last to the end of the race.

Indeed, that is the best strategy for the FT-1 since it is better on tyre wear. I don't like te Supre too, it's fast but feels like a blunt instrument. The FT-1 is more enjoyable to drive.

A great episode of The Adventures of the Shadow Realm. I really love the Anime Adaptation. This episode had some of the strongest points in the series, displaying moments of character development, great power scaling, great progression, and even betrayal. I played this track today 6 or 7 times. I love the racing on it if there is no one who sends you in the shadowroom. I started nearly all the time 10th and finished most if the time thirt or second. I started with the Supra but I had the feeling the AMG is faster in the race and it was actually faster. I can recommend it too you and at the last game I had the best battle over 3 laps for the win with the AMG against an Supra. Sadly I lost bei 0,070 seconds but it was so much fun. I really love the track for racing.

love your videos mate. only discovered them last week. Always loved GT but hated this 1 when it originally came out due to the ‘BS penalties’ and horrible suicide lunges to ruin your race. Gave it another go during lockdown and have slowly grown to enjoy it as the game only seems to have dropped the more suicide drivers. Im about 1.5 seconds slower than you at seaside, but need to learn to use manual gears and the stick to steer (im old school and tap the D pad and use x to accelerate and square to brake). Id love to get good enough to race you 1 day (currently B). Keep up the great vids.

My rating has suffered on this track THIS WEEK because only this week this track seems a lot more slippery than other times I’ve raced it. Coming down to the hairpin, oversteering is almost inevitable on exit, then understeering at the chicane the thing just won’t turn. You have to be brave through it. As soon as you straighten up on the kerb you flick it left, slight lift when you zag right and hopefully you live to fight another day.

These different cars are just the equivalent of setups in F1 games, youre loosing maybe 2 tenths on a straight to lacking topspeed but then almost rear end the car in front because you can brake so much alter and throw your car through the corner.

Honestly I just like using the Corvette on this track, it has good race pace when it comes to going against other people in battles but you gotta keep up. It's got a lot of power down the straight, and I almost always gain a position right from the beginning of the race, just because it's that fast. The only thing that's tricky is it's a bit heavy, but still pretty good around corners
