This video took a day to complete despite I included over one hundred twenty videos in this... yes, that's true. Granada Television has sixteen idents and one of them was in use for twenty-two years! This video will take a look at the on-screen idents from Granada Television (now ITV Granada). Launched on 3rd May 1956 by Cecil and Sidney Bernstein, this is the ITV franchisee for North West England and parts of Derbyshire, Cumbria and North Yorkshire. Border let Granada take over their broadcasting in the Isle of Man since 2009. Granada is ITV's most successful and largest franchise.
