Around 60-50% Health the boss will do a move called Reason's Transcendence. It charges incredibly quick, and even with max Damage Cap at lv 65 on Lancelot I was unable to do enough damage to Bahamut's chestplate to stop the move. If the move is allowed to proceed, you will simply die. This move also happens again when Bahamut is around 10% health. Ideally, you want to adjust your settings in the options to stop your characters from initiating your super moves and save them for these two periods of time. A link attack will also give you enough time as well, but as you can see at the end of this video. That was cutting it pretty close.
