A note about 3:53 - the correct Lucilius sigils should be AAGG, I edited it but totally didn't realize I had the text keyframed for some reason LOL (4 AM editing struggles...). Also, for those wondering about Mage's Savvy vs Glass Cannon: Mage's Savvy gives roughly a +8.1% damage boost on eligible Stargaze V casts, as opposed to +4.9% from Glass Cannon (which applies to all Stargaze casts, but obviously comes with the downside of... being Glass Cannon).

I would argue that Freeze is better than Mystic Vortex as 4th skill if the other three skill are Concentration, Fire, Flowery Seven as well. Since Freeze has much lower cooldown, the orb-building curve is much more smoother than Mystic Vortex. Frequently, Mage's Warpath fails twice in a row, Mystic Vortex only saves the first fail and its cooldown is very long. Sometimes, Concentration is ready but Fire. In this siuturation, Freeze just used as the second Fire to gain 3 orbs. What do you think about this skill substitution?

@@_bruce_guan I've spent a good amount of time playing both Freeze and Vortex, but I find Vortex feels so much better as you spent that much less time building orbs normally. Charged basic attacks aren't too much worse than Freeze in the times you get downtime, at the end of the day, though I agree they totally feel a bit clunky to use sometimes...

Heya! I was doing testing with Mage Savvy and warpath and found out that if you gain magic vortex any time after it would still benefit from the Savvy. So, when warpath do proc instead of going from SG5 to SG5, putting a fire/link attack/charge auto in between can still make it benefit from mage Savvy. I am not sure the time spent on gaining another magic vortex make it a dps gain though.... tried testing it but the 50% chance on warpath proc make it hard to remove variance. My guess is the "Focused" buff gained from warpath does not count as "Quick Cast", because we don't get the "Stout heart" that comes with "Quick Cast" too.

RIP 45 QCD 20 cascade rotations, I'll miss you (or not, I still have the build saved to go back to). Warpath made Io a walking coin flip now sadge, both her and Charlotta got hit with the "unga-bunga you do big damage so turn your brain off."

old charlotta was so nice, too... simple gameplay that could be well-optimized to never drop noble stance... i tried the new one for 5 minutes and instantly lost all my brain cells and forgot how to play io afterwards LMAO

hi can you upload a full fight clip to show more clear demonstration, thanks 😊As I am an Io main myself and before ver 1.2 I use Y attack and dodge cancel 6 times followed up with a fire attack, Y attack and dodge cancel 6 times with ice attack, and with link attack I have max orbs to release charge 4 stargaze, and with lightning and flowers seven for overdrive boss, I would like to know if this build and playstyle can last for full fight or it needs to use basic attacks very frequently, if so then maybe I will keep my original playstyle as it never actually in cooldown and I no need to use basic X attack , thanks and sorry for my poor English 😂

I'm too much of a scrub to run GC. would a mage savvy with quick charge or concentrated fire be better as a replacement? idk if capping quick charge or having 15 concentrated would be better (concentrated hits charged f7 cap for me but not sure if the capped quick charge makes io gameplay more comfortable)

GC has never been an ideal sigil except for the current charlotta. Note that quick charge also increases the dmg of your charged attacks

Savvy + Quick Charge is the default replacement option! Just make sure you run your build through the calc as the amount of raw damage you'll need to cap stuff may vary depending on your Wrightstone ~

Mage's Savvy + Quick Charge would probably be the most suitable replacement! It'd be better DPS in Link Time as well :3

Hello can you do a quick break about how to read the dmg calculator table? I dont really understand all the column in the table, for example is average damage is dmg * crit rate?

The important column to look at is the "DMG Potential" column. This explains how much your average total damage potential is of the current damage cap. For example, if the damage cap of a skill is 100K, and a non-crit of that skill with your build is hitting 90K and a crit is hitting 180K, when you have 100% crit, you'll always be capping (100% damage potential). But, if you have, say, 90% crit, then 10% of your hits are missing 10% of the cap (90/100k), and thus the damage potential is 99% instead.

Those are completely fine! Utility is always nice; Lucilius sigils are only a few % stronger than normal sigils anyway, so you don't lose too much! Though, I'd really recommend 2 Gamma as that shield prevents you from getting interrupted, even with Glass Cannon!

Stargaze I and II can be instantly cancelled with any skillcast, so weaving them into the rotation adds up a lot of bonus damage for an extremely small time investment ~

Two is great; but there's just SO many sigils competing for space now, that you can't really fit a 2nd quick charge without dropping a big damage item like Supp Damage, Mage's Savvy / Glass Cannon, etc~

She's always been a bit mid, but after Warpath, she performs a lot better relatively because the AI essentially gets free Quick Cast with every proc ~ I'm not too sure on how she stacks up to other AIs right now, but she should be decent!

Yes, it drops all the curio sigils in addition to some standard ones! It's not too rare, but also not super common~

Ngl, I really dislike this sigil. I thought Io’s old playstyle of hyperactive charging, cancelling stargaze animations with skills and weaving in link attacks to complete charges SO SATISFYING, that’s was the most fun playstyle in the game for me, and it made her skill ceiling so high, and feel so hyperactive. I’m still gonna run old Io meta because man, was it so fun

You definitely aren't alone for this one ~ there are quite a bit of Io players out there who are disappointed that her rotation got watered down to RNG (we used to have 4 Io Lucilius sessions and it was always fun to compare DPS and try to optimize... now, that doesn't matter anymore because it's just "who procced more" lol)... personally, I would have liked it better if it just refunded one orb on cast or something

@@Maygi definitely agree, if it was a guaranteed effect but a weaker one it could have (hopefully lmao) gave her a new rotation that keeps all of the fun from her old one whilst making it more efficient, such as maybe replacing the occasional auto attacks you’d throw in. 4 Io Lucilius sounds amazing haha, I wish I was there to see it
