GranBoard Online Darts - Playing 1,5 months now.

Been playing darts 1,5 months now on the Granboard. Couldn't practice as much as I wanted to but I am "ok" with the progress so far. Darts is harder than I thought it would be. Stance , grip , learning to aim , follow through etc etc.. Alot of things to learn.
I wish I would have made more progress already but I will have to accept that that's not how it works. Practice practice practice and adjusting small things here and there. Untill it all feels natural. Luckely I am having fun , no matter if I win or lose. I consider it all as practice.
I am happy that I found out about the GranBoard darts system as I think beeing able to play VS other players from all over the world realy brings it to a next level.
I do want to do a review in the future about the app and the dartboard that I use because some things could be better / improved in my opinion. But that's a video for later.

Playing Darts for 1,5 months now (not enough time to practice as much as I wanted to). PLayed 2 games VS mr. Barroso today. He won the first game. I won the second game and here is the recording. The game starts with a 2 min points battle (20's and 19's). At 03:58 , u can see your opponent go like "hmm hmm, hmm hmm, this game is over" 😂. I am not a great player but I do notice changes. In most rounds , your follow through is much better than before. Your thinking is also good about when to point and when to close numbers. Very good skill to have in cricket darts. The rounds where u close 18 -17 and 16 -15 with those tripples , that is impressive for someone who only played 1.5 months ... The second round at the bull was bad indeed , but the good thing is that u where able to throw at normal skill again next round and finish the game. Overal I can only say , I am impressed ! Ow , I also love the zoom in's on those tripples and bull's. Greetings from me and the family !

Thanks mate ! I am happy u noticed I practiced the follow through. About the poiting , I learned that the hard way hehe. Lost a few games before because I didn't point enough and suddenly opponent started pointing near the end and I lost. That second round at the bull was bad ye. I have to stay focussed even when the win is almost guaranteed. I was also happy that I qucik recovered in the 3rd bullseye round. Many greetings back at u and your family !

Hey Fatality. It was footage from a livestream indeed. I use 1 camera for the board , 1 camera on me , and than the camera from the device that runs the darts app. I run all cameras through a streaming program.

I connect my android phone to a pc and the pc records.

Switching numbers is imo the hardest thing to do in the game. The fact that u close 18 + 17 in one round and 16 + 15 in another round shows u practiced the fundamentals very well. Do u think playing snooker helped u to learn darts so fast ? I look forward to see more of the online matches. GG !

I agree on the switching numbers. Throwing the same number over and over is easy. Beeing able to hit numbers around the board is the real challenge. Snooker kinda helped. I alreay knew how importent the fundamentals are to practice correct and improve. Same as in snooker , u need to learn your stance , follow through , lining up a shot /throw etc. If I would just throw darts at the board , I would still lose every online game :-). When temperatures are decreasing , I should be able to play and upload abit more ;-)

I dont know much about darts but I get the feeling you're pretty good. But did you say you've only been playing for 1 and a half months?

Im doing ok for a beginner. I play 1,5 months indeed. Havn't played that much tho.

can i play a tournament with my friends online instead of it just being 1v1?

They are working on a feature to make tournaments in the app. They try to release the function in februari / march. For now , people use external websites to host tournaments.

Hey Dani. I use the Dash model in this video. I quickly upgraded to the more expansive board "3s" because it has a better build quality. But If u look for the basic board that runs good , the dash works fine.

i have some spare lithium ones from a blinkdoor bell. i bet they last a good while :) also ordered the board today
