@@FishinTimeCO I recognize the gentleman in the blue snowmobile. He came up to us on the 24th after we landed a 35 1/5 incher to congratulate us. He was funny, he said “I’m only chasing 40” plus bro” he’s got a cool setup on that snowmobile.

What set up do you usually use for lake trout? Always wanted to but scared my gear might be a bit “light” lol

I have several I use for Lakers. Smallest set up it a Frostbite True grit with 8lb floro. That one's for pups in the shallower water. For anything deeper or bigger I use heavy rods with 15+lb braid and floro leader. I use a Jason Mitchell H Mack rod for the big ones.
