Grand Canyon Helicopter Rescue - South Kaibab Trail

This dramatic rescue of a hiker in the Grand Canyon was below the South Rim on the South Kaibab Trail in October of 2019. Hikers were stopped below the site of the rescue for over 30 minutes as a helicopter flew in to evaluate the situation, drop a rescuer, and pick up the rescuer and hiker. Word was that the hiker was unresponsive and so assistance was called in. I have no further details about how the hiker recovered from the incident.
