Great video! The road/trail looked pretty good except in a few spots. Did you feel challenged on the R1200GS? I am riding a F850GSA. Maybe it would be a little easier for me?

Thanks! That road and end scene is top level beauty for sure!!! The 1200 fully loaded isn’t too much of a hassle on this type of trail, unless you dump it I suppose! I’d really like to try an 850 one day! Go give er a shot! 🙌🏻

What time of year did you go, and where did you leave from? I’m taking a similar route and I want to to stick to more terrain like this.

This was probably around March. Living in north Utah, I was down in the Saint George area, so my route came from Interstate 15 south, then east from Hurricane UT to the Stove Pipe park for the pass. After seeing Torowheap I returned north through Kanab and Bryce Canyon Mack home. I hope you go, it’s exquisite! Probably the best view of the Grand Canyon there is!

Overnight low was probably 40ish. Daytime highs were high 70’s or so. Great time of year to visit!

@@CaptMaxADV thanks for the reply. I'm riding up to twin point overlook in a week with a couple of friends for an overnighter. Never been but have a decent idea of what to expect because of your video as well as a few others. I was just curious how cold i was going to be overnight in the tent. Thanks again.
