A trail that i wanted to do for a while, the Grand Canyon Walking Track in the Blue Mountains National Park nearby Sydney in Australia
Today we were in Sydney Australia and as we love hiking and nature we went for hiking in the blue mountains grand canyon walking track. There are lots of trails for hiking in the blue mountains, lots of waterfalls and walking tracks. This one takes around 3 hours and its a loop meaning you will start the hike and end up in the same place.
There are many things to to in the blue mountains and if you don't know what to do in the blue mountains you can take a day and go for a hike in a place like this, the grand canyon walking track.
The blue mountains are just around 1.5 hours away from Sydney. so if you are in sydney australia and are wondering what to do in sydney, go on a roadtrip to the blue mountains national park.
Often regarded as the most impressive walking trail in the Blue Mountains, the Grand Canyon Walk will leave you in awe as you hike through lush rainforest with several creek crossings, waterfalls, huge sandstone walls and rock overhangs.
Constructed and opened to the public in 1907, the 6 km long Grand Canyon walking track was the first of its kind and has since been challenged by thousands of hiking enthusiasts each year.
Because the Grand Canyon track is a circuit walk, you can start at several different places. From the Great Western Highway, turn into Evans Lookout Rd just south of Blackheath (see map further below).
There are three parking areas along this road that are all on the circuit walk, so it doesn’t really matter much where you choose to park your car.

Train from Sydney to blackheath station. You might be able to get a local bus from blackheath close but it's around 3kms from station to walk.

how you sponsor your trips around the world for so many years? Compare with other travelers, you don't seem like tight on budget. Hope I can learn something from you. Thanks

One of the perks of my job is to travel, I get about 24hrs, sometimes 48hrs every place I go. Every week I’m in a different place (not now with the virus tho) I haven’t travelled for about 2 months
