I agree. Even though possessions went to Panthers, South's capitalised on their possessions far better. Rabbitohs were let down by Reynolds kicks unfortunately. It is what it is.

But Penrith kept Souths hemmed in most of the game and restricted Souths to only a couple of chances. That relentless pressure caused Walker to make a bad decision and throw the intercept. Penrith got rewarded for that pressure.

Souths were stuck in their own half for most of the match and couldn’t score any long range tries even with their brilliant attacking side because of the relentless defence of the Panthers. The best team of the year won.

@@daleviker5884 Panthers deserved the win but when one of their players performs a charge down and it gets ruled as just a regular tackle then its obvious that Penrith were getting the rub of the green that play had a huge baring on the result instead of getting an attacking set souths had to do a goal line drop out completely changing the momentum in the game

What an amazing coach Wayne Bennett is. I truly hope he stays with South's to help Jason co-coach from a mentor position. Bennett never gets caught up in the "what if this and that", he spoke about how mistakes are made, he's very careful with his words. Such an awesome coach!

I’m a Souths supporter but you have to give credit we’re it is due. Penrith played and managed a perfect game. They controlled the game to there strengths. And Penrith kicking game kept Souths on the back foot. Good luck to Penrith they played well and consistent all year
