Just a fun fact for you, around the 10:40 mark you mention 'top level players can cut corners other can't', and I'll have you know that it is the same in Starcraft 1 and 2, where players cut corners in order to get an edge in speed. Dave co-casting with T90 for the finals is perfect. Insane close 1st game on Migration, Viper played Dravidians best against Hera Italians. Those elephant archers and bbc transport in Hera's original islands weas a great distraction, and great defense from Viper. Eventually pushing back by Dravidians skirms. Great play by Viper 1st game.That 3rd game Nomad I was lmao most of the times with Viper's antics hahaha! What a funny game lol! Crazy back and forth series throughout. That Arena game Viper kinda threw with that bpmbard cannons losing to Hera. Viper played really well and seemed like he was firing on all cylinders for most of the series. Ultimately Hera won and it was a great final. Really competitive final. GG wp!

If Hera wasn't as good as he is he wouldn't have capitalized on those mistakes as hard. The shot at 1:59:38 was crazy, but that alone didn't win him the game. If Viper ate a shot like that against almost any other player in the top 16, he has a very good chance to still win the game. Hera on the other hand takes that small advantage and snowballs it into a victory that looks easy. I mean the man only lost one BBC in that whole game even though his BBCs were outranged the entire time after that shot. That said, I am excited for Redbull and to see if Hera gets toppled from his throne, but someone is going to have to match his consistency to do it.

That was definitely the big moment in this and I think a lot of people were like GG after that, and IMO completely turned the tide. Viper was making weird mistakes the game after (I think Arabia? Which is Hera's GG map usually). Best I can equate it to is like a Super Bowl pick 6... or like when Percy Harvin returned the kickoff in the Seattle/Denver game. Denver was all pumped up and down quite a bit but not out of it... and then that kick return just kind of "Uh this is over...." given how good Seattle's D is (similar to how good Hera's D is, Viper knew he had to force things which doesn't work well with Hera). Manning's face just said it all... I heard Hera on his stream yesterday and he said he didn't feel that needed to happen to win, but man... as a viewer it felt GG to me.

What you need for Bulgarians is to do enough damage in feudal to not let them get the cav archers going. Get to castle and just keep up the pressure use the timings of the cheaper/faster military upgrades as soon as you get to the next age. That means you need to have military in feudal like scouts so you have the mass and pressure and the upgrade timings are brutal. And have a few mma in the mix that instantly become longswords. And you can add siege or CA/skirm in castle age

The CA transition with Bulgarians is really smooth because of the cheaper/faster upgrades. They get thumb ring AND parthian tactics as well. So they are decent as long as you are constantly doing enough damage to stay ahead of your opponent which is easy on open maps with the mma. And on closed maps a krepost drop into siege/monk and/or konick.
