When I was 13 my uncle turned me onto this band. I would say 1979. This was the album. He gifted me his copy (which had the gold vinyl and stickers still). This band is still a favorite. I can toss on any album of theirs and blast through it. The album my uncle gifted me? I just gifted it to my nephew this past Christmas. The cover is beat to Hell, no stickers but the gold vinyl is still in excellent shape. I wrote a note for my nephew that I got this from my uncle at about his age.

Note to Lmdcan1313: Agreed, m8.. This is a *prime example* of the Hit-Single-That-Shoulda-Been-But-Never-Was-Cause-It-Wasn't-Released-As-Such. Albeit getting *some* Late Night FM Underground Radio airplay back home in Chicago Back In The Day. Thanx to the contributor for putting this clip up, m8...

This Album if you remember had a photo of the band on the inside cover and the band was completely naked very tastefully done, but shocking to the old folks ! The LP was a sycodelick black light gold ! And that was the first one I had ever seen , after that I started ✔ to see if any LP's I was purchasing had that as an option,? REMEMBER !

Great song on a great album by a great band!!! A little inspiration from Don Brewer. Even if he is one of the biggest assholes in the world. That guy sure can throw some sticks at a set of drums!!!
@mikehunt77679 жыл бұрын
Mike Hunt I rescind my earlier statement and apologize whole heartedly to Mr. Don Brewer for all name calling. I overstepped my bounds. I still say that he is one of the best drummers ever and could pull his own weight on vocals too!!! What a great band!!!

on the original yellow vinyl record there was an instrumental to close out the LP, i'm sure it was on the 8-track too. anyone recall the title? If you look at GF discography, it's not listed.
@kathipoff33198 жыл бұрын
I have that album-side 1 the last track is Black Licorice and side 2 it's The Loneliest Rider, which neither are instrumentals. I also don't remember one on that album...maybe another album?
